Youtube is scarily efficient in taking down copyrighted materials nowadays. I was trying to search for Michael Phelps and Park Tae Hwan's swims today - our recorder didn't record the swim finals even though I set the timer to record at 10am!!! - and all the videos I found have been taken down by Youtube.

Boo Youtube, I am also very angry that you suspended Coolsmurf's account. GRRRR.
(Coolsmurf is my oasis for most of the delightful Eng-subbed Korean variety shows.)

Was in one of those YouTubing moods and I chanced upon this - Girl with 19-inch waist.


You don't really need to understand Korean to gasp at her stick-like figure. She is 20 years old and abysmally skinny. Kind of like a walking skeleton! And she's all like, oooh I have a 19-inch waist! As if it's some kind of achievement? Bloody hell, even my thighs are thicker than her waist.

I didn't even bother to finish watching the whole clip because it's seriously disturbing.

As if I don't have enough rubbishy time-wasting things to entertain me during my free time, I started watching this Korean show called Super Junior Full House on YouTube over the weekend. Wahahaha. It is bloody hilarious, especially when the SuJu boys try and speak in English. They are all crazy nuts! :D

Okay... I really don't need another thing to obsess over right now. I'm halfway through Lost, haven't started on Heroes, and I have a gazillion other clips rotting in my hard drive. Haha yes I know I have no life. And I think I'm quite happy about having no life! :D

Yay, it's Good Friday! The one and only confirmed Friday of the year where I don't have to waste 2.5hrs of my life at work... haha. :)

Ugh, I'm getting real irritated with YouTube... they're suspending accounts left right and centre! All the accounts where I get my video fixes... suspended! The favourite videos I have... suspended! Bah!

Ahhh I can't believe it... Phelps smashed Thorpe's 200m freestyle world record!!! Right in his backyard at the World Championships in Melbourne! In Thorpe's pet event somemore!!! Phelps is now "the first man in history to go under 1:44" or so the papers say. Ahhh Thorpe! Why did you choose to retire so early?! You should have been the one making splashes in the pool!!! I thought at least your world records would leave a mark of your awesome-ness in the pool for many more years to come... but Phelps is coming up too strong! (But you know that you are still a great legend in your own right, right?)

Having said that, I really want to watch that race... it must have been such an awesome swim... even Pieter van den Hoogenband was lagging by more than 2 whole seconds! I wonder if they have it on YouTube?

To think that 3 years ago all 3 of them were in the "race of the century" and Phelps finished 3rd... haha maybe I should go to Beijing to watch Phelps instead huh. LOL.

[edit] Oh haha technology is great. There's a clip on YouTube already! It was a bit anti-climatic for me when I watched it coz I thought they were swimming the 3rd lap instead of the final lap... not very used to them starting the race from the left side. Haha!



And hahahaha coincidentally, it just so happened that the first clip I found was from KBS. Haha Korean stuff is invading my life man. (Korea's Park Tae Hwan came in 3rd after Phelps and van den Hoogenband! 대한민국!)

Super peeved with YouTube... I have to refresh ten million times just to watch a clip in its entirety. !#!%$&!!!

I resorted to putting salt on my ulcers since the wonderful black liquid (I don't know what that is, I just know that it's quite effective on ulcers) ran out. Haha talk about rubbing salt into my wound. Hurts a little but it's still better than that crater-sized ulcer I had last July... that was agony! From my ulcer-filled experience, Bonjela and Oral Aid are not very effective and gargling with salt water is not effective either -- all you get is a salty oral cavity and that's not exactly very pleasant.

The best is that wonderful black liquid. I shall see if putting salt works just as well. There's this ulcer near my emerging wisdom tooth and I wonder if the ulcer is due to my emerging wisdom tooth. I wanna pluck it out but I think it's not big enough to pluck yet.

I hate ulcers! Why do I keep getting them... When it's all good they don't appear for a few weeks or maybe even a few months, but then when they appear they come in twos and threes... irritating. And the underside of my tongue seems especially prone to those tiny tiny ulcers. BOO.

Last night I sat through a VERY LAGGY episode 9 of Lovers in Paris. It was very annoying to watch because the voice and the motions weren't in sync. I wonder why I subject myself to this kind of useless self-entertainment sometimes.

And I have to write a profile AGAIN. Sharks. :(

I really did want to read my Bio Psych textbook over the weekend. A little voice told me to read. Especially when I almost always leave the LT feeling "?????????!!!!!!!!!!!" and "What on earth was he saying about Sodium-Potassium pumps and ions and weird graphs?!?!?!"

I have practically zilch bio background and I haven't touched Chemistry for eons. Felt a little weird to see this.. erm, electrochemical structure or whatever you call those in my text. Oh-so-familiar! But yet oh-so-alien.

Back to the point. The point is. I did not read my Bio Psych textbook unlike what the little voice told me to. Guess what I did? I burnt my whole weekend watching Xman and other assorted clips. Like more Shinhwa and Lovers in Paris (I'm only at Episode 2 though). -____-"
Ahhh of all the bo liao-est, time-wasting things to do.

Bummer. The earthquake in Taiwan's making my broadband connection seem like a 56kbps dial-up one. Super slow....... :( The videos on Youtube are just crawling along... And watching videos that hiccup ever so often is no fun at all. :( :( :(

Ahhhh I'm so bored without my daily dose of Korean entertainment... :( How horrible that Youtube has occupied such a huge space of my life...

I hope the cables that were wrecked in the earthquake get repaired soon... I'm waiting to upload pictures so that I can blog about Taiwan. Hai.

My sleep cycle is screwed! I wake up when half the day is over and sleep after the sun rises these few days. I only see like 4-5 hours of sunlight a day?! Like some fake winter with long day and short nights huh. Haha.

My life = YouTube, screwed up sleep cycle and surfing the net for Shinhwa stuff. Haha boring life. But I have lots of things to watch and I don't have enough time to watch them!!! Imagine, it's the holidays and I still don't have enough time to watch what I want to watch. Hahahaha. Wah I'm becoming a YouTube addict!

Oh I went to the new Tampines Ikea on Saturday. Looks big on the outside but actually I thought the inside was just normal. Except the warehouse-like space. That was big.
