Unfortunately my parents are going to Korea with my little sister in June also. SIGH! WHY KOREA! WHY JUNE! WHY NO LEAVE! WHY NO MONEY!?! *wa mng tee, wa mng tee...*

18 Feb 2011 marked my 3rd anniversary at The Hill. The day went by quite uneventfully. Never thought I'd still be hanging around here 3 years down the road. Initially thought I'd do admin shit work for ~2 years and move on to something better, but look where I turned out. Aahh. At least I'm going to be rid of my evil boss soon!

2 more years and I get a long service award! Will I still be hanging around for the foreseeable short-long term? With the new department, who knows? But so far the work I've been in touch with during this transition period is not as blah, but, still early days...

Anyhow! I have conquered the Battlestar Galactica Human and Cylon!!! The queue for Cylon was about 5 mins, and there was no queue at all for the Human ride! My roller coaster rating for Human? 5/10 and for Cylon? 8/10. If you have no time to queue, skip the Human and take the Cylon! It's definitely more exciting with all the twists, turns, u-turns, and dry ice. Strangely I think my fear threshold has increased significantly even before I took the ride because it wasn't as bad as I expected!

Universal Studios Singapore feels like Hong Kong Disneyland. I think it could do with more rides in general, and they definitely need more exciting, hair-raising rides. I don't think it's really worth the exorbitant ticket prices!

Feeling this itch on my hands and legs these days, especially at night. But upon close scrutinization I don't see any insect bites. Hmm.

My sis went for fortune telling and got me interested too! Hmmm. Is it good to know too much about how your life will turn out or wiser to be in the dark?

I haz a new iPhone! One-for-one exchange because the sound button on my old one fell off. Grandma's birthday celebration today, Universal Studios tomorrow! Busy weekend.

Nothing exciting these days. I received a $2 angbao from a colleague! OK lah it's the thought that counts.
And news of my transfer has spread wide and far, I think most of my department has already heard of my impending move.

"Why are you leaving us?" someone wailed to me today. Errrr, because I am under-appreciated and treated like a maid around here? And my boss sucks?

"(She is a) very useful admin staff," someone else said while making introductions. Yah I'm nothing more than a commodity around here that is very useful.

Anyway, I finally got a computer over at the new office. It's a laptop with a puny screen. I must say that I am not very used to the puny screen because the desktops I've been using have big nice and clear monitors. After hankering for a new computer at work for so long, I finally get it, but I only get to enjoy it for a few months before I have to abandon it. Sigh. :( I will miss my spanky new and fast computer. :(

Sad that the 4-day break is ending. I don't even feel like I've had a break, neither do I feel well-rested! I need another 4-day break please! :(

Back to the daily grind tomorrow and totally not looking forward to it. Sigh. I'm going to wear my I HATE MONDAYS t-shirt tomorrow.

There is this Hokkien song called "家后" which is so touching and depressingly sad! *sniff*
It's not a new song but I happened to chance upon it on some blog and why is it so sad! Can people stop writing such sad songs! :(

Started my 2-days-a-week arrangement last Wednesday. So Mondays/Wednesdays I will be with the new department, and the rest of the week it's back to the menial brainless stuff.

Today's the 2nd day. Gahhh meetings meetings meetings. 3 meetings in a day. I was trying desperately not to doze off in the second one. And with meetings comes minutes writing. I don't like writing minutes!

But one thing's for sure though, it's no longer brainless and menial stuff. I can't wait to get out of my current job because my boss has soared to new heights of evilness. I will miss all my other friendly colleagues though.

1/12 of 2011 is over!!! I haven't done any spring cleaning! Jialat. And it keeps raining! Been pouring for 3 consecutive days! But the weather is nice and chilly though. :)
