I have been good this month - it's already past mid-month and I've only bought a shrug online! Oh and also a pair of pants that was too big for my sister. I also didn't spend that much on beauty products and stuff!

Now I'm lured by pretty and nice outfits again... clothes that will only see the light of day during weekends. Oh no this is bad. My wardrobe is already bursting. And there is no space at home for a second wardrobe. Please convince me that I do not need an embroidered dress.

It's gonna be a quiet work week coz both bosses are in Japan! I just hope they won't bother me when they're there.

Anyway some snapshots of the weekend past:

Visited Ade's new home and here are the master chefs cooking up a storm in her kitchen!

Master chefs whipped up a pretty decent dinner - Chef Koh's doumiao and mushroom (and I helped fry the egg!)

Chef Yeo's Korma chicken - a little like curry but not really

After realizing that none of us knows how to chop a whole chicken, I decided it's time for me to learn some life skills...

Life has been very much boring! (As evidenced from my 365 blog.)
I need to try to be diligent and update daily instead of accumulating a few weeks' worth of entries and updating all at one go!

Oh yes. I have gone for 2 lessons of samba (or is it salsa? I don't really know the difference hahaha) and I am pleased to say that I can catch up with the instructor most of the time. Most.
We are supposed to be able to complete the entire choreography for one song by the end of 4 classes so hahahaha that can be one of my 才艺表演 in future! LOL!

I hope the pole dancing will be more challenging, looking forward to some aches and pains. Samba is quite relaxed actually. Wouldn't recommend as an exercise especially since we can't do much in an hour.

Unfortunately I have warts (YES WARTS!) on the soles of my feet, and it's very painful and affecting the way I walk. Some stupid fungus apparently decided to make my feet their home. And the doctor says it's gonna take a while before it completely disappears! Plus it's infectious and I've apparently spread it to my sister. :(

I have been buying lots of clothes compulsively (BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD BAD!!!!!!) when in actual fact I should be saving for my trip! :(

This will not do. From June onwards, I have to set a strict budget for online shopping!

So over the weekend, we went for dinner at Hosted on the Patio to celebrate Gillian's birthday. Pretty nice place tucked away in some corner in Alexandra Road.

Allow me to do some picture spamming.

What would we do without iPhone apps like Instagram? :D

Appetizers - Atlantic crab salad. Delish!

Appetizers - Portobello market fresh
(I love shrooms!)

Grilled angus tenderloin. The waitress was shocked that Angie wanted it rare and kept triple checking. Haha.

My pan roasted barramundi - basically fish placed on top of baked beans (bean ragout)

Mouth itchy, so we ordered more finger food! Onion rings (so-so, too much batter and not enough onion imo) and another shroomy thing! :D

For your visual appreciation hahaha.

And here comes dessert - chocolate fondant

And an apple crumble with strawberry ice cream

Angie is the master at writing backwards! *kowtow*

Oh did I mention I love lingerie shopping? I love lingerie shopping. :)
Even if I have no money, browsing is also fun!
Girly indulgences. :)

It all started with a birthday greeting a Primary school classmate left on my wall on Facebook, and the idea to have a class gathering (after 13 long years!) finally came into fruition! It took about 2.5 months of planning (and procrastinating) and I am proud to say that I was the main organizer for this! I spearheaded it! Positive action verbs! Woohoo!

Gotta thank Facebook for the ease of contacting people and linking people up.

Lunch was initially awkward - in typical Singaporean fashion, 80% of the attendees were late - but it was soon salvaged by the arrival of the gregarious ones. Over the course of idle chit-chat and interview-like questions where everyone politely probed about each other's choice of earning money, I found out that 2 of them used to date (!!!) and surprisingly, none of us present were engaged, married, or had kids. And everyone concurred that it was indeed surprising!

Some I haven't seen at all ever since I left Primary School!

Oh! And I met this cute Korean guy in my last Korean lesson for the level! Our teacher invited some Koreans students over and we hosted a small party for them. We also had to prepare questions to ask them and half the time I was just stuttering in broken Korean.

And I spent unnecessary money buying 3 more dresses today. I have enough new clothes to last me from 初一到初四,no actually more, because some I bought without planning to wear it for CNY. Sigh. SELF-CONTROL PLEASE! And I also realized that there is only 1 more weekend left to CNY, and I haven't done any spring cleaning yet! Which means I have to clear my table and etc etc etc next weekend!

Anyway, I think I kinda like my brown hair now. :)

Gahhh what is this! Both items that I wanted from lilypirates are pending already! I commented at 8.0Xpm and the launch was at 8pm but I still didn't get the items! Faint!

At least I received my daffodil yellow dress today! Gonna wear it for CNY! Happy colours! :)

Allured by the sheer cuteness of Korean stationery! Love the stickers, so perfectly charming and adorable, yet wonderfully useless. And the funky post-it pads brightens up one's day! Hahaha. (I succumbed and bought some.)

Ah... online shopping. :) Love it. :) I wish I had a money printing machine at home or something.

I keep forgetting to take pictures for Project 365, it seems that it is not really very representative of my day at the moment. I would look back and think, darn! I should have taken a picture of this this this. And on some days I really have nothing to take because half the time I'm sitting at my work desk and staring at my computer screen, and the other half I'm sitting at home and staring at my computer screen or staring at my iPhone. Haha.

Oh well. I bought a savings policy from my so-called personal banker from Citibank and she's gonna give me a can of abalone. Hahahaha. Aaaaandd... I'm still waiting for the relevant people to tell me when I can officially transfer!!! Arghhhh!!
