I am still questioning the wisdom of my decision to do a shared major. 3 CNM modules this coming sem sounds feasible, but 4 CNM modules + 1 Psych module for my last sem? Ehhhh. And for some weird reason, this module called Advertising Strategies is going at 900+ points and it's only Round 1A! Bloody, I am not going to spend 900 points on one module. And by the looks of it, my exam timetable is going to be horrible again... :(

6. Some Science GEM which I hope to take with Shuhui. Complementary Medicine and Health, Reproductive Health: What One Must Know, and Forensic Science are the choices that I've narrowed it down to. The timing for Forensic Science sucks (Friday 7-10pm!!!!) and I bet Reproductive Health will be damn popular... bleah, not much choices left.

TGIF! Or rather, TGIS coz it's already Saturday. This week has been too long.

Okay let's see...

I plucked my wisdom tooth, my mom had a bad backache and checked herself into hospital (she's out of the the hospital now), I've been concussing very early (by my standards) these few nights and I cannot finish printing all my bills. Now that Shuhui's gone and there's only Angie and me left and SOA day is coming... oh my goodness... NO TIME! NO TIME!

So the X-ray showed that it's something called lumbar spondylosis, and it requires lots of bedrest and my mom has an MC till mid-August and this means what? This means that I gotta cover all her duties at the clinic! Sigh. Luckily school's only starting on 14th August.

Anyway, you know that they hang a picture of a toppling palm tree near the foot of the patient's bed? It means this patient is prone to falling. Haha! So cute right!

I took half a day off today! Wooot! Well actually the half day off is for my dental appointment. Heh. And I plucked my wisdom tooth without much pain and fuss! The dentist is damn skillful, hahaha. I just felt some tugging and something dislodging from the uppermost side of my cheek and ding! The tooth's out. And he was admonishing me about all the dental plague. While singing along to the radio. Haha it was very funny having the dentist humming a merry tune while looking down at my mouth but I couldn't laugh with all the funny instruments sticking in my mouth. Now my teeth feels squeaky clean and half my mouth is numb! Hahaha. Oh! And I brought back my tooth. It's a 3-rooted tooth! My mom said I should boil it so that it won't decay, so I boiled it. Hahaha.

Okay gotta go feed Hamster and then go work later! My mom's having a bad backache now so she can't work. It actually feels rather odd to be at home now, but still. Not looking forward to tomorrow morning. I have about 3000 odd bills to print! Gah!!!

Ahhhh... I love the weekend. :)

I spend the whole week waiting for Friday to end and Saturday to come... and also thinking of what to eat for lunch. Our lunch hour is always carefully thought of and well planned. But oh my, the food there is really very expensive. A normal bowl of 鱼片米粉 costs $4 in the food court! I am spending a bomb buying lots of food and getting fat.

Recently Shuhui has taken to applying sunblock, and Angie has also gotten a bottle, therefore we embarked on some skincare discussion, and ta-da! I bought myself my first tube of some odd moisturising cream that is supposedly "aqueous". It doesn't feel "aqueous" to me though, I think it makes my face greasier than ever. You can probably fry a nugget with all the facial oil that I have. Or make that a chicken wing. Or if we ever have a barbeque next time I'll just put my face over the BBQ pit and let the oil drip onto the food. Hahaha! Sounds gross. :D

But all these sunblock, moisturising talk makes me feel a teeny bit older. It's like the Time has come, so we must start preserving our youthful looks! Oh well, I still think I don't really look 20, more like 18 haha. And my ulcers are healing after lots of Bonjela/Oral Aid applying! Yay! I'm left with the 2 huge ulcers, down from an original 4, and those two are healing well! :) I can eat without much trouble now! Wheee!!!

8 more days of work!!!

Agony agony! I placed a teeny weeny bit of salt on my huge ulcer and I almost died. It was DAMN PAINFUL!!! RAWRRRRRRRRRR!!!!

I am in such agony now... can't eat well... can't even drink water properly... try having a whole mouthful of sores... It is not fun at all. Can they please HURRY UP HEAL?! Stupid ULCERSSSSSSSSS.

Feeling downright miserable right now coz my of 4 bloody ulcers which makes eating, drinking and talking such a pain! Damn painful lah! Two of them are the size of craters and are located barely 1mm away from each other! Right at the corner of my mouth! Which makes brushing my teeth a torture! Ugh! Plus my legs and arms are aching... goodness knows why my arms ache, I didn't even lift weights or anything.

Now I'm getting a headache. Headache ah headache... :(

Last night at Ade's surprise party, I overate, ended up puking out the last quarter of my dinner, and woke up to the sad truth that I have been mistreating my stomach.

Today I dragged my sorry behind for a jog despite knowing that there will be hell to pay tomorrow when my legs ache so. And with the death of my weekly swims, a lot of eating at work and my "cannot waste food" mentality, you will see a very Kim Sam Soon-ish person in another few months...

Never mind, let's have some KSS spirit around here! 13 more days of work!

It's a miracle I didn't collapse into a heap on the office floor and start snoring. That's kind of a good feat, I think.

The match last night dragged on till 5am and it was annoying coz the 2nd half was boring. I'm not well versed in the art of football, so can somebody explain to me why the goal-but-not-a-goal that Italy scored in the 60-something-th minute wasn't counted? Was it not a goal? It looked like a goal to me from my untrained and unexperienced eye.

Aye, and it's a pity about Zidane though. I thought France would win coz of Zidane, and I don't understand why he headbutted the fella! For goodness sakes, why why why?! Did you headbutt that fella?! And got yourself red-carded! And got sent off! And like what the newspapers said, the last time we see Zidane clothed in his France jersey is one of his defeated retreating back, walking into the locker room (or some sort like that; I quote loosely).

Rather cranky now, a general lack of sleep and lots of thwarted plans have made me rather annoyed. And the worse thing is that I have to work at the clinic this Saturday, early in the morning. Wahlao. It's a criminal sin to wake up early on a weekend. Bah! Plus Hamster thinks my finger is food, everybody's busy with goodness-knows-what-on-earth, and there's 17 more days more to the end of work!

I finally had some time to try out the Full House scores I printed out and it sounds bad. :( I feel so disgusted with my horrible playing.

I love the weekend! Because
1. I can wake up at 2pm!
2. I can watch all my TV shows!
3. I can watch all my Korean dramas!

World cup finals in just a bit. HOW! Do I forsake sleep to watch it and guzzle coffee all day long tomorrow? Or do I just miss it coz, hey, it's only football.

It's only Day 2 into my job and I'm already --> ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ...
Hate waking up early. :(

Hate squeezing with people, hate slow moving traffic, hate the sweltering morning sun.
Ok no more complaining, there's only 21 more working days to sit through!

But I think I'm getting fat from just sitting in the office. At least while I was kdrama-ing at home, my breakfast (usually just a bun) was my lunch due to the time that I wake up. Now it's breakfast, a very hearty lunch that will make my tummy round, and a very filling dinner (coz my mom always cooks a lot and I am the unofficial rubbish bin in the family).

These little things make our lives at work not so dull and more entertaining.

And I'd like to watch the semi-finals of the World Cup tonight, but I have to wake up bright and early tomorrow! Bah!!! What an annoying time to get a job. No time for my Korean dramas too!!! GRRRRR.

Okay, I am pissed again because I am just ONE episode away from completing KSS! And I can't download that last episode because Megaupload is lousy and I can't get the elusive download slot. And the BitTorrent doesn't seem work? It's forever at 0 KB/s! Is this normal? The time remaining is 25 days!!! Sigh, all this interrupted watching is ruining my enjoyment of the drama!

And my freedom is going to end soon because I finally found a job! Which means I won't have much time left to watch all the dramas that I want to watch. :( Goodbye to late night watching, sleeping at 6am and waking at a ridiculously late hour. Sigh.

Speaking of jobs, I still stand by my theory that job offers come in all at once! Sigh. When I was trying to find one there was no news at all, and suddenly I get like 3 job offers in a day? Rawrrrr... but hello $$$ here I come!
