2006 has been a nice year. I was reviewing my archives and my year can be summed up as such:
  • Passed my driving test in Jan
  • Quit my Maple addiction (but got hooked onto the equally addictive YouTube)
  • Laboured over 6 modules for both semesters and their corresponding projects, essays and exam
  • Missed a 10% quiz coz I overslept and got a D+ for that module
  • Dropped a textbook in the toilet bowl
  • Decided to do a shared major
  • Got swept away by the Hallyu wave. Started watching and getting hooked onto Korean dramas, and subsequently Korean variety shows, and finally Shinhwa!
  • 3 letters - KTV! 霍霍霍 became synonymous with KTV after our super high KTV session
  • Spent July working at NHG
  • Lovely Genting trip in August
  • Signed up for a few archery lessons with Shuhui
  • Celebrated my 21st birthday
  • Attended a lot of birthday celebrations too since this is the year of the 21st for many of my friends
  • Taiwan trip with my sis in Dec
Plus a lot of complaining about irritating kids and school work, gushing about Hamster, and a lot of other random things. I realize that I actually don't blog much - in one month there are only about 10+ posts! So this blog's actually a rather inaccurate reflection of my life. I'm sure there are many other things that didn't get recorded down. Or maybe they are just too insignificant. Or my life is really so boring till there's nothing to say.

Been eating too much this week. On Boxing Day I ate 10 plates of sushi at Sakae. On Thursday I ate some junk food and had half a cup of Baileys at Mabel's house. On Friday... yah see below. And on Saturday I had a big serving of fried noodles and some of my mom's fish bee hoon soup. Throw in the random things like the chocolate pudding/cake thing, the mochi from Taiwan, the 3am maggi mee I had on Thursday... Tomorrow there will be a buffet at my grandmother's birthday... I forsee more pigging out on Tuesday at Mabel's house again... RAWR I'm gonna get fat. Plus I stopped my weekly swims many many months ago so I don't get any exercise at all! Okay I shall exercise more in 2007. Sign up for some exercise class. Or something.

Yah so back to the point. 2006 was maybe a little bland sometimes but still not bad. Hope tomorrow will be a good start! More photos to conclude the last post of the year (just trying quickly utilize Hello).

10 plates of sushi... burp.

Boxing Day bra shopping! Haha we can now all be reminded what we did on Boxing Day.

Happy Hari Raya Haji and Happy New Year everyone! :)

It's already the 31st! I thought I found a way to get around this photo-uploading business but who knows... Hello tells me that BloggerBot's going to end by 2006. Hai. So I'm gonna upload a lot of photos by Hello before it gets too tedious to do so! (i.e. by lousy Photobucket)

Friday was such a gastronomically delightful yet sinful day! Oh man we just ate and ate and ate non-stop... I feel really piggish and fat now.

Sze Hsien invited us over to her house for lunch... and it was really a very high-class lunch! Five courses of yummilicious food!!! All prepared by herself!!! I am really impressed man... Sze Hsien can go open a cafe liao. Really!!!

Pumpkin soup! Really thick and filling... full of spices!

Appetizer! Prawns with wasabi stuffed in the middle

Quiche! Full of lovely gooey cheese! And it smells damn good! *drool*

The main course! Pork with cheese and ham in it!!! We really had a lot of cheese that day... haha... And I love the veges below the pork. YUM!

Dessert! The chocolate ice-cream-lookalike thing that's not called ice-cream but it tastes like ice-cream! Except that it's richer and doesn't melt as easily... and it's really damn nice!!! And she made it herself!!! OMG!!! *impressed*
And more cheese cubes hahaha.

Happy campers!

A toast!

As expected all of us were damn full after the posh 5-course lunch... Happy and satiated and sleepy! After some bridging I had to go to work... and after work (that was a lot of NEL-ing in a day) I joined Pam Sze Hsien and Yanzz at M Hotel! Courtesy of Pam!

(Side note: M Hotel reminds me of Minwoo!!! Ahh Minbong! Ahhh Wannie!!! Ahhh Shinhwa!!! :) :) :))

And guess what. As if that wasn't enough pigging out during lunch, we walked to Lau Pa Sat to dabao a lot of food back to eat!!!

Honey glazed BBQ chicken wings!

Local delights! Char kway teow, carrot cake, oyster omelette! So sinful!

Satay!

Eating eating eating eating.... Yum!

The 4 of us demolished all that food and then we spent the whole night playing bridge. 通宵 bridge. And singing loudly along to Class 95. And eating Doritos!!! (die, eat somemore.) Hahahaha. Think we probably satisfied the quota for one whole year's worth of bridge and also disturbed the neighbours with our singing.

Had a great time! Thanks girls!!! Thanks Pam for the room! Thanks Sze Hsien for the lunch!
*xoxo hugs and kisses*

Some pics from Mabel's birthday last last Saturday at the Mind Cafe:

Group pics

Our human letter formation. Hahaha. Maybe this will be the next photo pose after the jumping one.

Haha I hope Mabel won't kill me for saying this, but I really felt like I was at a wedding dinner during certain parts of the celebration, especially when they were making them go through certain tasks and stuff. Like those pranks that friends of the bride and groom play during the wedding dinner. Haha yah but very sweet lah. :)

Bummer. The earthquake in Taiwan's making my broadband connection seem like a 56kbps dial-up one. Super slow....... :( The videos on Youtube are just crawling along... And watching videos that hiccup ever so often is no fun at all. :( :( :(

Ahhhh I'm so bored without my daily dose of Korean entertainment... :( How horrible that Youtube has occupied such a huge space of my life...

I hope the cables that were wrecked in the earthquake get repaired soon... I'm waiting to upload pictures so that I can blog about Taiwan. Hai.

A'famosa Resort
13/12/2006 - 15/12/2006

And so we departed from Kovan bright and early in the morning... I thought I could get some sleep on the bus since I stayed up the whole night watching Youtube but no, I kept getting interrupted coz we had to alight every now and then for the customs check and stuff... we got there at around 1pm and had lunch, and it started pouring, hence essentailly wasting half a day. And we had to wait super long for the lousy banana truck (that's the shuttle service) to come pick us up to send us to the villa.

Two things that you should probably know about this place:
1. The villas are quite out of the way from the main attractions
2. There are a lot of flies!!!!

The villa we stayed at. It kinda reminds me of the houses that I used to build in The Sims! It's quite a big villa, with four bedrooms. Like the one in Bintan with Ichee. Except that there's no buggy and getting around is such a chore coz of the unreliable banana truck that takes an hour to come!!!

Haha the usual jumping. Kooky pose 1.

Kooky pose 2

Cousin's quite good at jumping

Now my sis jumping

Kooky pose 3

Trying my hand at archery... hahaha sadly, all the archery lessons I've had doesn't seem to be useful since I was off target most of the time! But it was too dark to even see where the arrows landed lah...

There was a fireworks display at the Cowboy Town! Heh nice fireworks. I've got a video somewhere but I'm too lazy to upload.

The next day we went to the Animal Safari or something like that.

Poor guy got trampled by an elephant

Elephant poo!!!

That's a tiny monkey

More pictures of animals...

Giraffes! Taken from this caged truck that we were riding in.

Turkeys! *gooble gooble gooble*

After watching lots of animal shows my cousins and sisters went to the water theme park while I tagged along and sat there for around 3 hours listening to my Shinhwa songs, staring at flies and getting a butt itch.

There are seriously a lot of flies there!!! RAWRRR. I got really irritated with the flies while I was there. There were flies invading the villa and our food and I was waving my hand around like half the time.

After the water theme park, my cousins and sisters decided to mess around in the tiny villa pool and I was the official photographer taking random photos and videos.

Anyway I slept super early that night coz there wasn't much to do... by 9pm almost everyone was asleep!!! 9pm!!!!!!!!! -____- So for the first time in x years I went to sleep at 1030pm... miracle!!!

On the last day we cycled a bit and played a bit more pool (I suck at bowling and pool) and then we came back. Go there if you have a high tolerance for houseflies. And if you have a car (makes travelling around easier, because the banana truck's super crowded and inefficient). And if you have lots of money to spare (we wanted to try those microlight planes only to find out that it costs like almost SGD80 per person). But the villa's big and quite spacious. If only there was a BBQ pit or something.

That's me and my sis trying out the frames function of our camera on our way back to Singapore. Hahaha.

Merry Christmas!!! :)

Ah well technically Christmas is over but hoped everyone had a good Christmas... I spent mine packing my cupboard and piano bench and watching videos on Youtube. Hurhur. Love Letter is quite a hoot, and I still have a ton of things to watch... I think my Youtube addiction is not going to go away anytime soon. Anyway I realized that I have alot of letters and cards after clearing my cupboard... it's always nice to see a card from people whom you don't normally think of. I think when I'm old and retired, I shall take them out one by one to read... provided that they don't disintegrate by then first.

My nose is still blocked. I think I'm becoming super dependent on the flu medicine and the nasal spray. Raaawr... will my nose please unblock itself! I've got a pile of clothes to iron and tiny ulcers sprouting in my mouth. Boo. Sniffle.

I think I caught a cold on the flight back from Taiwan... My nose is stuffed and I keep honking into tissues... Oh well, it's better to be honking in the comfort of my own home than honking during my holiday. Haha. The flu medicine's making me sleepy too... zzzz...

I've got about ten million and one things to blog about, trying to upload some photos but I realized that Hello doesn't work with the new Blogger Beta! So annoying... can't they just synchronize the old Blogger and the new Blogger instead of making us sign in with another Google username?!

Sigh so now I have to look for alternative sources to upload pictures... Lousy Blogger and lousy Hello. :(

It's Christmas Eve! Nothing exciting planned this Christmas (I don't even feel very Christmassy myself), but I've had a rather hectic 1.5 weeks away from home most of the time so I'm looking forward to spending some ME-time at home nua-ing! Woot!

And there's a rather big portion of some fruit cake/pudding that's coated with thick yummy chocolate at home... My parents don't wanna eat it so only me and my sisters are left with the task of demolishing it. But we will grow superbly fat. So anyone's welcome to come help me finish it! Hahaha. :)

Poor Hamster is gonna starve coz there's nobody around to feed her... I shall load her food dish with lots and lots of food... I hope she knows how to ration her food... :(

Sigh. So sian. I cannot go to the water theme park! BAD TIMING! RAWRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

My sleep cycle is screwed! I wake up when half the day is over and sleep after the sun rises these few days. I only see like 4-5 hours of sunlight a day?! Like some fake winter with long day and short nights huh. Haha.

My life = YouTube, screwed up sleep cycle and surfing the net for Shinhwa stuff. Haha boring life. But I have lots of things to watch and I don't have enough time to watch them!!! Imagine, it's the holidays and I still don't have enough time to watch what I want to watch. Hahahaha. Wah I'm becoming a YouTube addict!

Oh I went to the new Tampines Ikea on Saturday. Looks big on the outside but actually I thought the inside was just normal. Except the warehouse-like space. That was big.

Gotta go work soon... tata.

I love KTV but I hate the smell that lingers on my hair and clothes after I step out of the room... It's this stinky stale cigarette smell... Pooh. Can't seem to wash the smell out of my hair! It takes a couple of days to go off. :(

Super distracted yesterday and today... so hard to sit down and cram for my last paper. I keep thinking of the glorious days ahead and throughout the whole night when I was trying to study, a random Shinhwa song will drift into my head. Hahaha. Distracting! How to study when I think of how hot they are LOL :D

Had to battle peak hour public transport today, and I have decided that next time I should find a job that's in an ulu place. Like maybe IMH. Haha. Hate squeezing with people! And at the bus stop everyone was crowding around and effectively blocking my view because I am short and I cannot see what buses were coming. RARRRR.

I sat for my exam in such a sleepy state... I spent 2 hours answering 100 MCQs, trying to summon all the stuff that I read in the middle of the night, dozing off during the paper and "listening" to the Shinhwa songs floating around in my head --> My source of strength haha.

This semester's exams felt soooooooo long! Like it was never-ending. But enough complaining about exams coz it's finally over! *confetti and ballons*

Something's wrong with the computer we usually use, I think I accidentally short-circuited it. I think the monitor is wonky anyway. My beloved calculator also died. Sigh. R.I.P. my trusty Sharp EL-546L calculator, you are practically extinct now!!!

Loving this song! :)

Yayness! One more paper left... MCQ... hahaha slack.

Haha so terrible of me, just because it's all MCQ I slack! But I am really seeing the results of the effort put in for the everyday assignments/projects. We managed to pull off the "I don't know what's happening" project to get a good grade. And I collected my NM2101 report today... could have been better haha but aiyah don't care already. What's done is done!

Anyway Adolescent Psych today was okay... I like the module and I don't mind reading for fun on this topic but I don't like studying for it. The content itself is interesting, especially since we've all been through adolescence, so we can relate better to the stuff that is taught right? But I just don't like remembering... haha.

Ooh gonna slack today! Slack slack slack!

Now I'm two-thirds through my exams... really looking forward to the end of my last paper and then I can watch YouTube all day long! Man I love YouTube... YouTube makes my life happy! Haha even my little sister watches YouTube... just now she was watching some S.H.E. and Rain and Goong thing... my little sister... see how the times have changed.

I'm thinking that life is pretty good! I may still be stuck in the dark throes called The Exam Period and there may be rolls of fat hanging over my waistband (and I feel that the buses sink when I board them) but I have an adorable hamster, a Pepperidge Farm dark choc cookie to enjoy, my as good as new Adolescent Psych textbook waiting for me (alright, this isn't exactly a blessing), YouTube to provide me with Xman clips, Shinhwa love, TAR, Korean dramas, and viidoo for TAR Asia! I feel happy because of all the Shinhwa and Xman hahahahaha. And when exams are over, life will be even better! :) :) :)

Count life's little blessings, people! And I love whoever created YouTube! :)

[My Internet connection is screwed up - it doesn't allow me to post an entry with more than 400 words. Bah!!!]

A panda eats, shoots and leaves.

I managed to survive my 3-day horror, yay! My papers for those 3 days were all at 5pm and I was leading an owl's life. Literally 日夜颠倒. Study the whole night through, sleep at either 6am or 9am, wake up in the afternoon to go for my paper, sit for my paper, come home and go through the basic necessities of living, then start cramming again through the whole night. Maybe 5pm papers are good coz they sort of suit my erratic sleeping habits. For 9am papers I just don't sleep coz it's pointless to sleep at 6 then wake up 1.5hrs later! Might as well don't sleep so that I don't have to worry about not being able to wake up... hahaha.

I felt like my Media Writing exam was more like a test than an exam, especially since it was only 30%. On Wednesday after my 2101 exam I was already like... wooh, slack!!! Instead of studying for 2220 I went to search for Shinhwa/KJK stuff, haha I have such little self-discipline. And I am quietly optimistic about my 2101 exam. I thought I wrote a pretty decent essay for the 1st question, all thanks to some last-minute harried reading on the bus. It was like the first time I felt my essay made sense and had some semblance of a proper structure! Usually it's just a mess of points jumping here and there and nonsensical babbling.

More cognitive theories:

Encoding specificity principle and mood-dependent memory
- Original context is best for recall (i.e. if you study underwater, you recall better underwater)
- Lesson learnt: Go and study in the exam hall to aid retrieval (haha not too possible)
- Mood when learning should match mood during retrieval for better recall
- Lesson learnt: If you feel miserable while studying, you should also feel miserable while taking your exam (which is not that hard to achieve haha)

And there is better recall if you generate the information yourself
- Lesson learnt: Generate your own notes yourself

Ahhh hungry... so I should feel hungry during my exam to match my mood now? Hmmm.

This is what you have in your brain:
The Central Executive (the cognitive supervisor)
Phonological loop (language comprehension, language aquisition)
Visuospatial sketchpad
Episodic buffer (integrates the phono loop and the sketchpad)

Interference with phonological loop:
- Saying "the the the" while trying to remember items
- Recalling of verbal material suffers
- Lesson learnt: Do not talk when studying

Proactive interference:
- Material learnt before interferes with what you want to learn
- Release from proactive interference - reduction from this interference by introducing a vast switch in categories
- Lesson learnt: After studying subject A, switch to a distinctly different subject to prevent proactive interference.

Haha 25 more hours to cram everything into my brain!

Anyway, my mom decided that she will not iron our clothes for us anymore and we have to start ironing our own clothes w.e.f last week. I don't know how to iron! The only chores I know how to do are folding the clothes and washing the dishes. I've never ironed anything before, with the exception of handkerchieves (super easy to iron) and my Developmental Psych textbook. Haha now I sound like some prissy spoilt brat who never does household chores. But I guess we gotta learn how to iron someday right? So yeah. If I gotta iron, I'll iron.

Check out my maiden ironing effort!!!

Some wrinkles here and there (the shirt itself has some gathers) but hey, it's hard to iron a shirt!!! I don't know how to iron shirts!!!! Help!!!! Anyone with ironing experience, care to share how to iron shirts and jeans?

Hahaha maybe I'll just wear the same clothes for the whole week now so that I'll have less to iron... You'll see me in the same wrinkled clothes everytime. Hahaha!

I love the Pepperidge Farm cookie! Yum.

I'm going to turn my blog into some snazzy academic blog hahaha. So don't bother reading until after 6 Dec. 2006, coz it'll all be boring stuff. Wahahaha.

Aloe Vera - emollient, laxative
Cayenne - Stimulates blood flow, increases metabolic rate, good for circulatory and digestive system and also if you have too much gas in your stomach (flatulence).
Chamomile - Aids digestion, mild sedative, anti-inflammatory
Chasteberry - Restores hormonal balance in women, good for PMS
Echinacea - 3 species, E. angustifolia, E. pallida, E. purpurea. Approved ones are Echinacea pallida root and Echinacea purpurea herb.
Good for lots of things. Respiratory and UTI kablah kablah, also to heal surface wounds
Is also an immunostimulant. --> has no direct bactericidal or bacteriostatic properties. Whatever that means.
Stimulates the immune system. RAWR Echinacea is boring.

Ephedra is ma huang, contains ephedrine (which will constrict the blood vessels) and pseudoehpedrine (which will dilate airways).
Feverfew - Also for women's menstrual cycles. Reliefs migraines. Active ingredient parthenolide.
Garlic is good for you. Has antibiotic, antifungal, antiviral properties. Has cardiovascular effects. Can thin blood, can stimulate immune system. Can clear congested lungs....
Active ingredient Allicin, which gives garlic its stinky smell (pooh).
Used as a support to dietary measures and a preventive measure for age dependent vascular changes...
Side effects: GI symptoms, like when useful organisims in your tummy gets killed. Warfarin + Garlic = blood clotting times doubled = bad.
4g of fresh minced garlic bulb a day is good for you (pooh, even 1g is too much for me).

Typing from my notes... I need paper! I don't have paper to write my notes on. I need to scribble to feel like I'm actually studying!

Goodbye Thorpey.

"As of 2:53 on Sunday afternoon I decided that I would not be swimming the world championships (to be held in Melbourne next year)," Thorpe said.

"I also made another very difficult decision -- I decided that I was actually going to discontinue my professional swimming career," he added.

And so he's retiring. After I saw the news on TV and closed my gaping mouth, I went in search of alternative news media and I must say that Wikipedia is very efficient. Super detailed and updated profile of him there. It was kind of odd to see him plastered on my desktop when I booted up the computer today. I mean, he's always there and I somehow got desensitized to him after a while, but after knowing that he was leaving the pool for good, it made me more aware and conscious of him as my desktop wallpaper, and ironically with the caption "The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you can't. Impossible is a dare."

I remember watching him on TV during the Sydney 2000 Olympics when I was still a geeky 14-year-old... wow it was just him working magic in the pool... Starting out slow but suddenly in the last lap he was leading by like one body length. I was so awed.

He was like my very first idol (and will always be). He was young and talented, I was awestruck and completely swept over by his talent (plus he was kind of cute!), and I still think he is a great swimmer. It's sad that I'll probably never get to see him race, and Australia has lost a great swimming talent, but I hope he'll be happy in whatever he does.

I still want to visit Beijing eventually, but probably not in 2008. The whole point was to go and see him compete, but since he's not racing anymore, I think I'll just splurge all the money that I saved on Taiwan. Hahaha.

Fans all over the world will never forget you!!! *heart*

Oh. My. God. I just heard this on the news and there I see Ian Thorpe in a press conference announcing that he is ENDING HIS SWIMMING CAREER!!!!

WHAT?!?!?!??!?!

Yay accomplishment of the day:
I managed to persevere and finish reading the two articles that I set out to finish by today. Even though the 2nd article was super long and dreary. Even though the thought of watching Xman was constantly infiltrating my brain! Freaking 40+ pages of media theories X_______X Seriously boring.

But I love Xman! I'm convulsing with laughter whenever I watch it. Hahaha. I found someone who has the episodes with the Shinhwa members and it's freaking funny! *heart*

Haha this is like the first time I actually finished reading an article that is 40 pages long! Usually I either (i) don't read at all, or (ii) give up reading halfway.
I am impressed with myself! Wahahaha.

Well my actual agenda for today should be:
1. Finish the 2 readings for NM2101 (I plan to read 2 per day so that when my 2101 exam comes, I'd have finished reading everything. But at this rate, I think I will just not finish reading everything hahahaha.)
2. Study 6 chapters of Cognitive Psych...

...which I obviously did not do. Reading is just taking too much of my time! Coz I keep getting distracted and the words just flow in and then flow out again and I have to re-read that line/paragraph. I used to like reading... storybooks! Yeah the good old days of reading Enid Blyton. Storybooks I can read quickly. Readings and textbooks?! ZZZZZZZZZ. Hai maybe my processing speed is slower when it comes to non-fiction.

And I think I am more efficient when I 临时抱佛脚. Like right now, I don't have a pressing need to go full steam... The motivation to work hard is not there! I need a in-your-face kind of dateline to vrooom ahead.

Starting to dislike staying at home during the day. :(

Basshya! Fighting! Think of the fun I'll have in December!

Sigh, I wish I understood Korean.

AND I SHOULD BE STUDYING!
I read a grand total of... 5 pages today. Woohoo.

Oooh what a slippery person! The most greasy Dangyunhaji segment I've watched, but it's freaking hilarious! Hahaha. I'm trying to drag out the pace of watching Xman so that I can watching enjoy it longer!

Ego: All done! All reports handed up! All presentations done! WOOHOO!!! And I think I did pretty okay most of the time... if I don't think about my Psych term papers.

Id: Time to reward yourself! Time to watch YouTube! Watch YouTube watch YouTube watch YouTube watch YouTube watch YouTube... watch Xman watch Xman watch Xman watch Xman... watch TAR watch TAR watch TAR... watch ANTM ANTM ANTM! And go and waste your time surfing the Superstar webpage!

Superego: What!!!!!!! Study study study study study study studystudystudystudy study study and catch up on your horrendous readings... there are a lot of readings waiting for you... study study study study!

Ego: .................... zz z z z zzzzzzzzzz. *snore*

Id: Slack slack slack slack slack slack slack slack!

Superego: Study study study study study study study!!!

Id: NUA!

Ego: Sian. I am just waiting for exams to be over.

Id: Your basic instinct is to bum around!

Superego: As the moral branch of your personality, I say you must study! *sits heavily on Id*

Id: OOOMPH!!! What on earth?! Say, Ego, just go with your instincts.

Superego: Ego! You are the one making rational decisions! Think clearly first!

Ego: .................. ?!?!?! I am being bombarded!!! Help!!!
Sian, I still have to go to work later...

I was horrified to learn that Publications Graphics and Design and Biological Psychology had lecture timings that CLASHED! *cue thunder and doom* That's a big big problem for me... there's a possibility that I have to stay for an additional semester just because I can't fulfill the requirements to graduate. Sigh, I'm trying to find a way out, and I think I might have found a way out, but I still need to confirm if the Plan B module would be accepted as one of the three level-3000 mods that I have to take.

For an institution as big as NUS who offers so many Arts modules, there's such a limited choice of NM level-3000 modules to choose from! If you don't have the pre-requisites (like me) you can't take half the modules offered.

But sigh, I really wanted to take Publications Graphics and Design... Should have taken Bio Psych instead of Cognitive Psych this sem. In any case, I don't want to waste more money staying for one extra sem just because I can't get my MCs.

Groupmate who didn't attend the lectures requested for my notes to copy. Hmmm? Why should I let mere acquaintances who don't bother to attend lectures freeload off me?

Well sadly I agreed to lend her my notes.

My dear self, you must really get some backbone!

Siyi, your signature color is Sterling Blue

You've got a good head on your shoulders and you're not afraid to use it. Serious, intellectual types like you (Intellectual?!?!?) meet their match with a cool color that sparkles with the same striking intelligence as you do. That's why Sterling Blue is the ideal match for you! This is not to say that you've always got your head in a book. Not by any stretch. While you may not be the person at the party kicking off the karaoke (OMG HAHAHAHAHAHAHA ROTFL!! Okay I admit that is true if I am with strangers), you're probably the one starting up stimulating conversations and making your cohorts chuckle with your quick wit. You're likely to have an insatiable curiosity that's catchy, and friends who know that you are a great person to turn to when they need a logical head to help them sort through their problems. So keep it up with your sterling hue of blue. You probably have a way of keeping things deep that people truly appreciate!

I just burned my entire weekend on my two NM projects... Spent the entire rainy Saturday in school. Oh well. Last week of school, and this week's gonna be quite a slack week. The calm before the storm!

Nothing much's going on, so here's a few thousand words:

At Pam's 21st party...

When we meet, it's always about food (okay this is not a very foody pic)...

Bridge...

and taking photos!

That's us trying to squash our heads to fit into the photo

That's not some kind of visual trick, the big cup is really bigger than the small cup.

Ichee!

This bunch of balloons was supposed to be some kind of landmark to guide us to the venue but Yanzz and I got horribly lost and made a huge detour round Mount Sinai!!! Garh.

More random stuff

Gillian made me a huge something and I have no space to keep it. Hahaha.

Cute heart! (and the hand's my sister's)

And I found a use for this heart... Let Grimace sit on it!

Now snoozing on it

My two Grimaces!
That's the fake Grimace occupying authentic Grimace's old place

And Hamster drinking water! Hehe so cute.

I've got a video somewhere of Hamster running around...
