I was watching 无间道 II today on TV and it was nice to watch because Edison Chen and Shawn Yue look very cute in the show!
This concludes my day.
(Oh and MapleStory is down for 36 hours for some major server update, so my twitchy itchy fingers will not have a chance to play till my exams are over. Good neh.)
Oh crap I am very much screwed for my statistics exam!!! Panic panic!!!
Looks like doing special term next year is inevitable... else it'll be 6 modules every stupid semester till I graduate!
Why don't I just change my major to something that doesn't require statistics... Please let me get a C please let me get a C please let me get a C!!!

The #1 telling sign that you are a hardcore, hopeless Maple Story addict:
You start to draw mushrooms, snails and slimes during your exam, on your question paper.

Is there a Maple Story Anonymous group? Maybe I should set up one myself!

Well anyway, I thought today's exam was easy peasy lemon squeezy, if you compare it to last semester's paper, which was (question mark exclaimation mark) times 10. It was an MCQ paper, (I arrived 10 mins late for my exam, boohoo) but some questions had me stumped, like "Which one of the following authors is not featured on the Japanese banknotes?" I should be able to pass though. We got a rather decent grade for our disgusting project so yay! Let's all bid adieu to Introduction to Japanese Studies!
And my favourite module of the semester, Abnormal Psychology! I should be able to pass that too, but hopefully not with another B- again. :(

This is Hamster's exercise ball! It's not very clear, but Hamster is in it and it's running. And why is my floor green?!
I forgot to take a picture of Hamster in the sand bath... next time next time!

I think I have an acrobat for a hamster.
Hamster can climb the monkey bars quite well using it's tiny hands. Do not underestimate Hamster's arm power.

More Hamster photos!!!
Hamster is so cute! I was watching Hamster nibble at a kernel of corn at 330am the morning before my Abnormal Psychology paper instead of sleeping. So cute!
Research Methods and Statistics up next!!! Ahhh! Die!

Today I went to the pet shop and bought hamster sand (for Hamster to roll in) and a hamster exercise ball (for Hamster to run in). Whee!!! So exciting!
Me and my sis managed to shoo Hamster into the hamster ball and it ran all round the living room banging into things. Poor Hamster. I wonder if hamsters suffer from concussions?
But it's damn funny to see a purple plastic ball rolling all around by it's own. Haha! And sometimes the shit will fall out from the ball (Hamster poos everywhere, anytime), so we gotta follow the ball around and pick up the shit after it.
Me and my sis also managed to shoo Hamster into the container of hamster sand. Hamsters are supposed to roll around in the sand and bathe itself. Erm. Something like that. And I spotted apple-scented sand! FYI, Hamster likes to eat apples (and sunflower seeds) so I wonder what would happen if it rolled around in apple-scented sand! It'll smell of apples and maybe it'll eat itself up. Okay that's gross hahaha.
Shall take a photo of Hamster in the exercise ball next time! :D
Today I also went to buy Meiji Yoghurt which is damn yummy! Especially the Aloe Vera one. Try it! Special offer from now till 23rd Nov! $2 for 3 at NTUC!
I decided to be more adventurous and bought a mango-flavoured one. Mango-flavoured yoghurt?? Hmmmmm. Hope it'll turn out yummy.

PFFFFFFFFT. Haven't been updating!
You remember Grimace?

Am I seeing double?
How come there are TWO Grimaces?

Is this the real Grimace?

Or is this?

Ey you fake Grimace! Get out of my throne!

"Mwahahaha, I am the real, authentic Grimace," intones the one seated in the box. "The fake shall have no home!"
Fake Grimace arrived here about 2 weeks ago, courtesy of my mom's friend friend or something. Now I have two Grimaces but I only like the bona fide Grimace!
I would like to clarify again, I only like THE Grimace, not ALL Grimaces! It is different!
The Fake is short and stumpy and its hands has no flesh! The Fake has no dent in the stomach!

Anyway the swimming pool decided to separate the individual lanes from each other, and two lanes are allocated to swimming laps. I applaud the Swimming Pool Association or whoever that is behind this for FINALLY putting buoys to mark the lanes and putting up signs to specify what direction to swim (anticlockwise). But some annoying people just do not know how to read the signs! The freaking lane is already freaking narrow and instead of having everyone move in a circular direction, they just go up and down, up and down, and banging into oncoming swimmers! Oei! I don't care if you can swim the butterfly as zai as Phelps, but please be courteous and swim in the correct direction! It's like driving against the direction of traffic, later langa can! And I got dug in the freaking elbow by some freaking guy. BAH!
I am hungry, and exams are coming oh!
I would dearly love to say that the reason I haven't been updating much is because I'm busy burying my nose in my books, but we all know otherwise.

Today is just not one of those good days.
Last night I was rushing out my JS project and my PL2131 stupid report. Stupid APA format. Stupid statistics. RAAAAARRR!
So I slept quite late, at about 6am and therefore I woke up late because the stupid Nokia phone alarm is not as shrill as the T610 and because I woke up late and I missed my train and I had a stomach ache, I took a cab to school from Harbourfront and wasted $6.30 because why? The lecture ended 10 minutes after I arrived. Wahlao!!! GRRRRRR.
Wonderful. I went to school for 10 minutes of lecture and to hand up my project and report. And to return the book I borrowed from the library. Waste money lah!
I think I probably spent the remaining $15.10 that I got on Saturday on cab fares! BAAAH!
Then we screwed up big-time at work and the whole freaking world is coming for flu vaccinations. Suddenly everyone pops up from all corners of Singapore, and there was a Bukit Batok patient coming all the way to Hougang for a flu jab!!! When there's a lot of people, I get flustered, and when I get flustered, it's very easy to make mistakes. PPPFFFFFFFFFTTT.
And just a few minutes ago, while I was Mapling, I saw something white run across the floor and I thought it was some beetle/bug/cockroach but it turned out to be Hamster. I dunno how Hamster managed to heave itself out of the cage, and then out of the box, and I was damn flustered (again) but I somehow managed to lure Hamster back into the cage. Using food. Because Hamster is a glutton. And Hamster is overly active at night. Eh I still don't dare to catch Hamster with my bare hands. Wah, hamster-owner but don't dare to hold hamsters, very good eh?

Was super sleepy during my Abnormal Psychology lecture yesterday, plus it was kinda nice to doze off crouched at the back. So when my lecture ended, I was feeling damn stoned and sort of zombied to the library.
The library's toilets alternate every level, like male toilet on one level, female on the other. In my hazy zombie mind, I thought the toilet on the 3rd level was for females (the stupid floors start to look all the same after a while, can't blame me for getting them mixed up ;D) and in the stupor of my zombie-ness, yes you guessed it, I opened the door and walked in and the first thing I spotted was urinals! Ooops!!! Wrong gender. Luckily there wasn't anyone in the toilet at that moment. And so I walked out faster than Hamster running on its wheel and looked around furtively trying to see if anyone spotted my boo-boo. Think no one was near enough to spot me walking out of the male toilet, so whew!
Haha this is not the first time I did this, last semester I walked into a male toilet because of the alternating levels of toilets and also because I was too blind to see the sign, and when I realized my mistake, I walked out and saw this girl walking past and looking at me, so I just smiled at her like it was the most natural thing to come strolling out of the gents. LOL!

It's been a good birthday week! Yesterday (by that I mean Saturday) wrapped up the festivities and celebrations and Gaassssy scores 10 points for creativity! Hahahaha that was a really interesting game to play.
I went to Topshop in the afternoon to finally go on my shopping spree (courtesy of Ichee) and then it was followed by dinner and some kind of answer-questions-and-earn-money game! Hahahahaha. They fulfilled my wish of giving me money without it coming in a red packet! Anyway I earned $29.10 in total. Hahahaha!
Okay shopping spree! Here I come!
Anyway, I got a free flu vaccine by the eccentric doctor who sneaked up and wanted to jab me without warning. Luckily my mom told me beforehand, else I would get pricked without me knowing.
My grandfather's in hospital, just went to see him today. Guess it's a matter of time.
I should start to wean myself off Maple Story... 2 hours today, 1.5 hours tomorrow, 1.25 hours the next day, 1 hour on the next, then 45mins, half an hour... I figure by next week I should be completely Maple-free and then I can start gearing myself up to stare at my textbooks and notes.
Hope I'll succeed. :)

Hello! Today I cleaned Hamster's cage! We managed to clean out the cage without even touching Hamster. And after I plucked out the wheel and fixed it back, it doesn't squeak anymore! So yay! No squeaky wheel at 3am!!!
My sis thinks that Hamster is getting fatter... hey Hamster's buyers, what do you think?
Introducing... Hamster!
This is Hamster today.

This is Hamster a few days ago.
Hamster likes to eat a lot and shits a lot. The whole cage was full of black stuff. And today I witnessed shit coming out from Hamster's behind! I even recorded Hamster moving its bowels, wahahahaha. And I realized Hamster likes to torture itself by squeezing in between the small space between the food bowl and the cage. Then its butt will stick out and it'll do some sort of a flip/somersault! Ah how to post the clip up here? Anyone knows?
My sis read up on a lot of hamster info on the Internet... one hamster year is about two human weeks! And one hamster day is about 1 human hour! And hamsters are supposedly blind but their sense of smell is quite good... so if you just ate an apple, don't pick hamsters up with your hands or it'll bite you because it will think that your hand is an apple!
We also placed a toilet roll inside Hamster's cage for him/her? to gnaw on. Sort of to trim its teeth, or something like that. Hamster also has a new water bottle! The old water dish was quite dirty coz all the sawdust would go in, so my sis bought a new bottle for it! And did you know you can toilet train your hamsters? There are hamster toilet bowls available!
Anyway my sisters baked a cake for me to Monday night! With the help of my mom and me, hahahaha. I was not supposed to know about the cake (which is highly impossible, since I was going to be at home when the cake-making process was going on) but my little sister cannot keep secrets. On Sunday while we were going swimming she told me about the grand plans to bake a cake. Then she said "Cannot tell 二姐 I told you, because I promised 二姐 not to tell you." -___-" Hahaha my little sister is so funny!
And so we made an Oreo Cheesecake! Which came out very well! And was quite palatable! Hahahaha. Eh at least it didn't turn out like our very first attempt years ago. Our first attempt at making a cheesecake turned out to be like cheese ice-cream instead. :(

Looks yummy! And tastes yummy too!
We also went to Pasir Ris park for a picnic on Tuesday and went cycling and eating. Birthdays are for stuffing your face with food. Hahaha.
And here's the Big Sweep ticket with the rude hand sign... hahaha :D

Never strike Big Sweep leh... No more dream car!!!
And speaking of dream car, I'll be taking the Traffic Police Practical Test on 14th January! Hope I won't mount curbs and stop over the stop line and stuff like that...
And my favourite team in The Amazing Race - Family Edition got Philiminated! Bah!

30 years ago, on this day...
Bo Bice was born!!!
Okay that is not the point. The point is:
20 years ago, on this day...
I was born!!!
Yes little Si Yi came into this world all bloody and shrivelled up like a prune. Probably with a loud wail or two. Not that I can remember what happened when I popped out, but I'm just describing what I see on TV shows and stuff. Hahahaha.
Today is a good day because it's a public holiday! And it's a doubly good day because it's a public holiday and my birthday! And it's a triple-ly good week because two days later it's another public holiday! Yeehah! And I finally don't have to work on a Thursday night!!!
Do you feel the festive mood already?
Do you feel slacky? (Except for the people who are mugging for exams)
I am!!! Such a wonderful week, this is!!! :) :) :)
Happy Deepavali everyone!
And Happy Birthday to me! It's not everyday that you turn 20, you know. ;)
