Hilarious! The woman's pretty creative though. LOL~
I was one of the hundreds/thousands? of commuters affected by the NEL train breakdown this morning. I have much to complain about the inefficiency of the staff and complete lack of communication. But more interestingly, I saw a lot of people whipping out their camera phones and taking pictures of the crowd and of the notice flashing on the signboard!!
Haha seems like people still can remember to update their friends instantly even when they are running late/stuck on trains. In the end I arrived at work at 10.30am. -___-" Should have just taken the bus right from the start because that was what I ended up doing!!!

The year was 1998. I remember 12 years ago, I came home from my cello lesson and they told me that my mom popped. It was a Tuesday. I remember because cello lessons are always on Tuesdays.
Today is also a Tuesday. And my little sister turns 12! She was very grumpy today and throwing petty tantrums. And refusing to take photos.
But still. Time flies!

Woah STB sure maximized the airtime they got on the Singapore leg of The Amazing Race! It was a really jam-packed episode - Victoria Concert Hall, Singapore Flyer, Sentosa Zip Line, lion dance, selling ice cream, shipyards, Marina Barrage... plus all that bitching between the lesbians and the beauty queen, made for a rather entertaining episode.
Apparently the teams popped by our sunny island last year when I was in Cambodia! Pity... or else maybe we would have the chance to catch a glimpse of the teams scurrying around the island!
Tried to get tickets to the Jay Chou concert today but of course the Power of Jay Chou made the entire Sistic website inaccessible for an hour. But heard he's going to open up another show on 23rd July. Say hello to another mad rush for tickets!

My mom is back after 2 weeks of holidaying in Europe!!!
That means no more clothes washing for me!!! *jumps around*
Unfortunately, she met with a sneaky pickpocket on the 3rd day of her trip and lost about $2K. Geez it seems like Europe is really unsafe. Not only that, someone in her tour group got their camera stolen right from their hotel room. And my sister's friend had her bag stolen when she was there 2 years ago. If I ever get the chance to go there, I'm gonna stuff money down my socks and tape money to my body. HAHA.
$2K is really a lot of money! That's like one month's worth of my salary.

Last night I had a very long and in-depth discussion with a friend on love and life.
So one of the questions I posed was: Would you rather only have one love for your whole life (and assuming you marry him/her) or would you rather get your heart-broken at least once?
I choose the second option. My opinion is that you would have never experienced life if you do not know the pain and anguish of heartbreak. Some people would disagree, but I think it will make you stronger, it will make you wiser, it will make you know what you want, and it will make you appreciate the next person more.
Pensive thoughts huh. That's what the night does to you.
Work wise, I've had my appraisal a few weeks back (it was longer than the <5 min appraisal I had last year), went for a few interviews, rejected a job, and procrastinating on my job applications. Anyway. No rush I guess. At most I'll wait it out for a few more months and see what happens in July (i.e. bonus month).
Oh and here's a prettier picture of our kimbap, courtesy of my classmate :)

I am impressive!
I finished ironing the clothes! I washed the clothes! I even cooked dinner (edible!) for my little sis and myself haha.
Well I guess it helped that this was a long weekend. Other than doing blah chores, I had time to sleep a reasonable number of hours, go cycle and KTV and even nua around a bit so it wasn't all too bad. :) The pace of this weekend was just right!
After this weekend - which has already come to an end :( - there is really nothing much to look forward to anymore. No leave, no PH till the end of May. Boohoohoo! *tear*
