Goodness. I'm feeling sad and a little depressed after reading on the forums that people have managed to get tickets to the March concert... and I'm going to be here in Singapore... and relying on fancams... U___U

Last night I was watching Carrie screw up her life because she can't control herself and had an affair with Big (her ex who is now married) and cheated on her loving boyfriend Aiden.

You know how sometimes you want to shake your friend by the shoulder and scold some sense into them because it's so obvious that they are messing up their lives?

That's what I wanted to do to a fictitious TV character!!!

Goodness.

Anyway I have this saved in my drafts for eons... another HK overload! Because I finally amassed allllll the pictures from every one... so posting some that I didn't get to post before.

More precious happy moments! :)

I am damn poor with only $8 left in my spending account after all the eating and merry making. I spent more in a month while I was jobless than I did when I was still a student! Wahlao. How to survive on a $100 each month??

Took a written test today as part of my long and drawn-out job application process. Wah machiam like taking exam for a Singapore Studies module! 3 essay questions in 2 hours. Bleah. I could cough something out for the first two questions but the 3rd one was about the economy and I am just not interested in news about the economy. My daily reading of the newspapers didn't really quite help me there either.

JOBS JOBS JOBS... damn sian...
If I don't land myself a job by end Feb I think I'll just go and apply to be a teacher lah hor?

Okay don't know what else to blog about except that I finally got my haircut and I've been watching a lot of Sex and the City! And other unexciting things happening include my never-ending my boring job application process and interviews and blah blah... Which explains why I've nothing to blog about recently because I'm not having deep complex profound thoughts and I'm watching 4 thirty-something single women in Manhattan opine their thoughts on love and sex. Hahaha.

Can't say I identify with them when watching, and I think Carrie is a little over dramatic and neurotic about Big, but I'm only at Season 3 and I am only a twenty-something single girl
so what do I know? Heh maybe when I'm 30 and I read this again I'll smile at my lack of complex emotions.

Read in the papers that lots of people are stranded in Guangzhou because of bad weather. Thank goodness it wasn't snowing like crazy in China when I was there for my crazy adventure... Wouldn't exactly want to be stranded in a train station in Guangzhou.

Today Yesterday was my mom's 49th birthday! And only me and dad were singing her the birthday song because my two younger sisters went to bed like moments before we cut the cake. In the case of my little sister, it was some silly tantrum. I suddenly felt so sorry for my mother. Shouldn't the whole family celebrate a birthday together?

Okay it's time to be realistic... My dream of attending Shinhwa's Korea concert shall just remain as that - a dream. Haha I knew it wasn't possible anyway.

Ticket prices for foreign fans are priced at 110000won (~$183.30) and 88000won (~$146.70) -- or possibly even more! Still cheaper than the Shanghai one, but now I wonder WHAT ON EARTH possessed me to pay $200+++ for the ticket when now I think $183.30 is expensive. And then there's still airfare, accommodation and other misc. stuff to factor in!

Okay now that I'm feeling the pain of being pauper-poor, I conclude that I probably had a short circuit somewhere last time. Haha.

Wahhhhh... Shinhwa's really testing my inner strength of resistance...!!!
Hello,
this is in Next Trend Co. Ltd, organizing SHINHWA concert.

First to say, we appreciate many interests for SHINHWA concert from all over the world. Following is the information of the ticket booking service for fans, residing outside of Korea and Japan.

[Concert Overview]
1. Title : 2008 SHINHWA 10th Anniversary Live Concert (not fixed yet)
2. Date: 2008, March 29th (Sat) 18:00 / March 30th (Sun) 17:00
3. Venue : Seoul Olympic Park 1st Gym
4. Promoter/Organizer : in Next Trend Co. Ltd
5. Cooperate : GOOD EMG
6. Ticketing Service : in Next Trend Co. Ltd
Tempting, tempting... WHY MUST THEY KEEP TEMPTING ME?!?! I'm having a hard time resisting their temptations!!! WHY! Why is there no budget airline that flies to South Korea?! Why am I so freaking poor!

This is a vicious cycle man... once you go for one, you want to go for all!

Okay to console myself, the seats that they put on offer for overseas fans are not close enough to the stage! *thinks of Gillian and Yuanshan's ROW 6 JAY CHOU concert tickets and possible sleeve grabbing moments...*

Oh. I just realized 29th March is also the weekend of the St. Nicks 75th Anniversary celebrations! Ahhhhhh why is everything happening on that day :(

Hong Kong!

Day 9
HK Airport - Singapore!

All fantastic days have to come to an end one day... :(
Our flight back to Singapore was at 11:05am so we had to wake up earlier so that we have enough time to travel to the airport and check-in.

Very sleepy people

I saved HKD$33 so that I would have enough money to board the airport bus! (and buy Krispy Kremes at the airport)

Waiting... for the bus to come... we don't want to miss our flight!

Goodbye Hong Kong! *sniffles* You've been really fun!

Well good thing we made it to check-in in time, but barely!

On the skytrain to our boarding gate! With a dozen Krispy Kremes each!

On the plane back

I guess this concludes my Hong Kong adventure! Yay I've finally finished chronicling everything. Haha.

But it was a really fun trip. I loved it! Really glad I went. And the Shinhwa concert. All the happy memories! Thank you to everybody who made this Hong Kong trip so wonderfully fabulous! :)

Chronicling and describing everything makes me feel nostalgic! Here's to more fabulous trips in future!
