Haha I found an old funny post in 2007 where I dreamed that I was invited to Shuhui's wedding dinner LOL.

I quote myself:
"I dreamt two nights ago that I was invited to Shuhui's wedding dinner. Hahahaha. And I turned up in some tatty t-shirt and shorts. And then the bride went to park her car or something and didn't come back. HAHAHAHA."
Fast forward to 2012! The bride didn't run away and I didn't turn up in tatty t-shirts and shorts by the way LOL :D

Strange dream early this morning.

Dreamt that my mother gave birth to 2 sons! On hindsight, they could have been twins.

My little sister was a toddler in that dream, around 3-4 years old?

One of the twins was cute and smiley. The other was grumpy and frowny.

Anyway if such a thing were to happen in real life... I think I will move out of the house. Hahaha!

I would be old enough to be their mother instead of their sister! Imagine that! :x

Just a quick update on my boring life before I try to go to sleep earlier. Boring and routine life aside, I am now an accidental iPhone user! And it has provided me with lots of distractions. It can be quite annoying sometimes (the iPhone is a selfish phone), and I miss some of the normal phone-y functions on my old Nokia, but on the whole, still getting used to it. It's a gaming phone. I only wish the battery doesn't die that fast. And there is no Blogger app!! Bah!

Last week also saw my first pay increment in 2 years. It's bonus month so we all got our salary review letters. 2.5 years in this place and the pay only inched up by this much. Boo. But still. Bonus is always good. Not a lot, but no fish, prawns also good lah.

AND! Last Friday I went to watch Jay Chou live in concert! :) It was an excellent show - if only he sang 霍霍霍... that would make the atmosphere super high! I screamed a lot and sang embarrassingly loudly to almost every song. Towards the end everyone stood up and waved their light sticks and sang along to his classic songs. It was like a mass KTV session :)

I also went to watch Inception - everyone's raving about it and the plot seemed pretty interesting. I think it might be a little overrated though. There was a scene where there was no gravity in a dream. Reminded me of my own dreams because I've had recurring dreams of myself floating in the air and being unable to get down!!! It was as if I'm a helium balloon. Never able to stay on the ground. That feeling is so insecure.

New colleague came in today, and I have to start the entire training process again. SIGH! I suddenly miss my old colleague. At least we are comfortable with each other's working styles and she knows how things work around here.

OK time to sleep. I am sleeping later and later these days. Used to sleep at 1.30am, then it became 2am, then it became 2.30am, and sometimes 3am. SIGH! Why like that?

Massively sian now. My long break is about to come to an end. BACK TO WORK TOMORROW! Darn. The next long break will happen only when I quit my job. Haha. Goodness knows when that will be. :(

Spent the last precious few days of the long break watching the Jo Kwon <3 Ga In couple in We Got Married. I haven't watched WGM ever since Andy/Solbi days. I didn't even watch the Junjin/Lee Si Young couple! But Kwonnie is a hilarious husband! Hahahaha. I like funny people! Anyway I haven't marathoned something like that in a long long while. Sigh those were the days when I would watch Xman clips one after another without having to think of waking up early the next day. Oh how nice it is to not go to work and have all the free time in the world!

I had a strange dream this morning. I dreamed that a horse came so close to me and its face was practically hanging over my shoulder! In my haste to get away from the horse, I bolted upright in my sleep. I thought TV shows were exaggerating when people actually bolt upright in the middle of a nightmare, but I guess it does happen. But I wouldn't call the horse a nightmare. Just that it was getting too close for comfort and I don't exactly like horses sniffing and hanging around my shoulder. Hmm.

I didn't finish reading up to the 1000th copy of 8 Days either. And I have a ton of Korean homework. SIGH! Another new week. :( Another Monday to hate.

The weather is schizophrenic, I say.
Hot and humid one minute, cool and rainy the other.

Well at least tonight it'll be a nice night to sleep. I probably won't want to wake up to go to work tomorrow. Haha!

My life is so boring, I think the weather is more interesting to talk about. :(

Oh yes. I had a very interesting dream last night. The Shinhwa members guest-starred in my dream. There were many many fangirls and our task was to spot the Shinhwa members who will lose themselves in the crowd and disguise themselves. Hahaha. I think I was at Dongdaemun and I somehow spotted Eric in disguise. LOL and he spoke to me in English! I think we even had a proper conversation!! Hahahaha. Too bad I had to wake up.

After dragging my ass along for more than a month after I had my last exam paper and enjoying life in general, I finally got around starting on my job search. Yay! That, and because I'm sick of people asking me questions usually in this progression:
Found a job? (No I haven't) --> Started your job search? (No I haven't) --> What kind of jobs are you looking for? (No idea)

To tell the truth I really don't want to start work coz I have been enjoying all this slacking/rotting/playing/sleeping and waking up with the whole day at my disposal so much. If it's possible I'd love to indulge in these purely hedonistic pleasures for the next month... and the next... and beyond infinity... haha. But we all know that is not possible in this sad sad world. :(

My mom is inclined towards me entering teaching because the moolah is good. A family friend who is also all for teaching told me that "You work for the money, not for the passion". Wah, jaded much? I barely have a toe in the workforce and I hear this kind of things... makes me even more sian can. But I agree that teaching is looking very attractive nowadays and MOE is making my heart waver a bit ($$$$$$$) but then I already spent half the year thinking about it. And the answer is... I can always enter teaching as a mid-career professional if I really don't find job satisfaction in others. No hurry.

And still no hurry to get a job now. I'm executing my job search at a slow and leisurely pace. Looking mostly at positions with ministries, HR, advertising... even SSO and NUS hahaha. At this rate, I think I'll still be jobless by CNY but I don't really care!

Who knows when I will get to slack around so unabashedly again!

Anyway I had a really weird dream last night again. I dreamt that a gigantic fish exploded from a bookcase and started to attack me. Hahaha.

Omo omo, I just had the most fantastic dream ever!!! ^_____^

I dreamt that I was attending the NDP and then Shinhwa appeared! And then the stadium was alight with orange glowsticks and they started waving at the spectators and I ran down like a rabid fangirl and I shook Dongwan's, Junjin's, Minwoo's and Andy's hand! OMG it felt too real. I SHOOK THEIR HAND! I even remember that Dongwannie's hand felt cold. Do sensations factor into dreams?! And Dongwannie smiled in my general direction! :)
And I said "Kamsahamnida!" after shaking their hand. LOL! :)

The next thing I remember was them having a showcase of some sort, Andy was singing a Chinese song, I was sitting or standing very close to the stage and fumbling with my camera and orange glowstick. Fascinating! All I remember was that I was too damn excited. Haha.

Next scene, we were back at the stadium, and Junjin came and sat on my left!!! :D And then he started singing "You're My Everything" and then Hyesung and the rest came and sat on my right. And they all starting singing and I was busy trying to take pictures of them while the stadium-full of fangirls craned their necks in our direction. Wahahaha.

And the dream was filled with things like orange glowsticks, cameras and a charged atmosphere of excitement. :) Of me running around, screaming my head off, shouting my support or something. Very bizarre!

They're really messing with my thoughts. Wahahaha. And then my dad came and asked me what I wanted for lunch and brought my conscious self back to earth. It was only a delicious dream. Sigh. Never been so disappointed to wake up.

Yesterday I dreamt that I was horribly late (25 mins to be exact) for a 40% test because I went to buy bubble tea.
And I was pleading with the teacher to let me take the test but she wouldn't. -___-*
Luckily I woke up after that and realized it was only a dream.

Bad premonition for tomorrow's (or I should say today's) exam!
I have been thinking about having bubble tea for a few days now! Haha.

This week is the last week of the semester... and tomorrow is officially the last day of school for me. My last day as a student! My last day of lessons! OMG. This is happening so quickly! I don't want to graduate! If only I was Hiro Nakamura... then I can bend the time/space continuum and teleport myself to 50 years later or maybe I'll just freeze time and make it remain in this glorious period of being a carefree undergrad forever.

I'll definitely miss being a student... and even NUS. After all I spent 3.5 years of my youth there.

Yesterday was my Deutsch Semestertest! I'm officially done with Deutsch now, 100% CA means I can't do anything about it now... so from now on it's just the exams standing in between my life as an undergrad and the scary hazy future. I really hate this not knowing what to do thing. Ever since I was a kid the next 10-20 years seemed pretty fixed - study, get into a university and get a degree. I suppose it's this goal that keeps us all going and moving forward. So now I've done that but I don't know how to proceed! I'm like stuck in a rut. I need to have a plan, a goal for the next 20 or so years but from this vantage point where I'm standing, I don't see anything in front of me yet.

This quarter-life crisis thing really sucks! And it's not a recent realization, I've been thinking about life after school and future career paths for almost half a year. Sometimes I really envy all the accountancy grads, they graduate and it is almost certain that they get a job. Or those who are so sure of what they want to do when they graduate. Can somebody just plan my life out for me?

Going off a tangent, I finished watching Heroes in around 2 weeks! The show is phantastisch. Better to have finished it now than to pine for it during the exams. Which is coming up pretty soon!

I also just watched the Amazing Race and I think the dad in the father/daughter team is very very annoying.

Last night I had a dream about a hamster. I'm not sure if it was my hamster but the dreamhamster was scurrying around pretty fast and it got sucked into one of those drainage holes and while I was trying to grab it before the water sucked it in, it glowed neon pink and morphed into a prawn. Very weird dream.

I wished I took more videos and photos of Hamster while she was still around though. I looked through my collection and realized I only have like around 4 good quality videos and tons of very blurry pictures of her. Oh well.
