I print my lecture notes on recycled paper. And my sister's JC1 project work notes contribute a lot to the pile of recycled paper. Her project was on lesbianism and teenage girls or something to that effect.

One fine day, during lecture break, I was glancing through their project stuff when my friend (who became very anti-homosexuality after _______ __ ________) piped in with a question. "Why did they do their project on lesbianism?" she asked in this seemingly normal voice but I could sense the hostility oozing out from the simple statement (maybe I'm sensitive but that's not the point of this post).

Why can't they? It is after all, just a topic. And homosexuals are human beings too. You might argue that it's unnatural and that we aren't created this way and blah blah but face it, they're here to stay, whether you like it or not. Unless you plan to mastermind a massacre of the homosexuals, you can't do anything to change it (in the short run). It's just the self-righteousness that irks me to no end. It's like saying "Oh I don't like apples so everyone else must not like them too." I am not against anyone else having opinions of their own. Have them, by all means. Just don't impose your views on others, and act as though it is The One And Only Opinion In The World And You Must Abide By Thee. Respect, please.

And we'll be back right after this commercial break. -zooms off to try to comprehend squiggly characters-

Spring fever hits! The smell of butter cookies waft through the air. Time to clean and swipe off seven years worth of dust under drawers, in hard-to-reach corners, blah blah. I spent Saturday doing all that and sneezing my head off coz it was so blardy dusty and effectively falling behind all my work so I stayed up till 6 to finish up the stupid 习字.
It was very satisfying to get rid of the dust balls though. It was just this thick, black layer of soot-lookalike amassed from the time since we moved in, I think. Luckily this time I didn't find an ants' nest. I need to get a bigger box for storing letters and other assorted paraphernalia. I feel like throwing everything out but sentimental reasons stop me from doing that.

Oh well there's always a next time to dump them. When I feel that I no longer need such tangible objects to remind me of happy days, perhaps?

Mooo. I can see tagboards now. Just when I switched to flooble.
Always happens. Sigh.
Saturday, 29 January 2005 0 comments
I got me a Flooble coz for some reason I cannot see tagboards. So all you people using tagboards, I cannot tag you.

I still can't get used to seeing my reflection in the mirror because I don't look anything remotely like me! Ahhhhh! My hair! *whines complains groans moans ad nauseam*

What happened to the days when I had so many things to blog about that every night before I sleep I start to perform a soliloquy in my own head?

I had nothing of any importance to occupy The Grey Matter then, that's why. Back then, all the thoughts float into my head and then I feel oh-so-philosophical and oompah-oompah-ish puffed up with goodwill and importance and with my tinted view of the world I start babbling babble babble babble babble about the death of friendships babble babble babble about life babble babble babble and complain and bitch babble babble babble babble babble about school babble babble babble babble much like what I'm doing now. But at least it makes good entertainment for others.

Now I've got work to do! I've got dialogues to memorize! (Hajimemashite. Dozo yoroshiku.) I have MORNING lectures to attend! I've got tutorials to rush to! I've got to sleep! I've got to deliver cookies for my mother! (WHY!!!) I have to give tuition! I have to source for another job! I have to do 习字! I have TV shows to watch! I need to budget my earnings! I have no time to think of floaty thoughts! I have no time to let floaty thoughts enter my brain!
I feel very superficial and bimbotic while blogging now.

Life's boring. I have nothing else to say (except to complain about my hair).

Cows quack, pigs moo, horses chirp, hens oink, ants cluck.
That was random.

Babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble babble.
I'm just generating words for the sake of generating words. If I were writing this down on a piece of paper, I'd crumple it and throw it carelessly into a wastepaper basket 10 metres away like what those temperamental artists/authors do. This is gibberish. It's crap. It's nonsense.
Alas, typewritten stuff don't offer you the option of crushing the screen.

I'm on a downward spiral to... somewhere.
Tata.

The Japanese talk waaaaaaay too fast. I cannot catch what they're saying! Ahhhh!

My hair looks too thin. My head looks too big. My fringe is too short. I look damn weird! Like I have no hair! I look very disproportionate because my head is too big. Boohoo! I don't like my hair!
Don't laugh at my hair when you see me! :(

Sigh! My hair! Is ruined!

YST has no funds = no job for the time being.
I suppose that puts an end to all that waiting.

Going to cut my hair later.

Now I have 3 webcasts to watch and a lot of work to catch up on.

Despite coming across as being totally mean, please remind me not to take modules with people who whine, complain, have a bad attitude and expects me to do the donkey work while they pon lecture.

Is there something wrong with the tagboard or is it only my computer that has problems? I took it down coz it wasn't working.

!#$%^&* IVLE is down and I cannot watch the webcast. Curses!

Remind me why I'm taking modules with people I know?

Poooof. My thread of hope is looking slimmer as the days go by.

Must watch Marketing webcast.

A few moments ago I was feeling damn pissed. All because of the video tape recorder, no less. My mother was blaming me for not keeping an eye on the video tape recorder because it turned out that their beloved 霹雳火 didn't get recorded. I think there's something wrong with it coz it didn't record my American Idol (refer to last 2 entries) but anyway she was blaming me because I was the one who pressed the "record" button. And I was watching Desperate Housewives while the VCR was supposed to be merrily recording away.

Anyway she was yelling at me while I was in the shower and then I suddenly felt this surge of anger coming out from goodness-knows-where and I felt like using my loudest, KTV-worthy voice amplified by ten times to yell back at her.

The angry feelings lasted for about ten minutes then I came online and all is happy again.

I am broke. I feel like a fool checking my email every now and then to see if there's a reply from the Head Librarian, (kind of like 守株待兔) and I better get my tuition pay tomorrow! Or I might just break some random things around the house.

Oh yah today I had a Japanese quiz which I thought was happening on Wednesday during lecture so I didn't study. Very good.

I guess transparency doesn't work very well for me. All the stuff that I wrote about sounds very cringe-worthy to me now. Haha.

Sigh. My new bag is ruined! It's quite upsetting coz it was a present from Ichee and barely 4 days after I got it, it met with an accident and got stained with some sauce and I don't know how to wash it with all the leather and all even though Yanz said that I should handwash it. The leather runs. As in it'll leave black streaks when it comes into contact with water. My mom tried to help me get rid of the stains but it's still visible under close scrutiny. And the leather label at the side is ruined! The strap that is connected to the bag is ruined! The insides of the bag is ruined because there are black streaks! Sob! Sob!

Anyway. Today we had a birthday celebration for Shuhui. We baked a cheesecake! And it tasted quite good (albeit a bit too sweet). I got a blister from crushing biscuits. Hahahaha.
Then after the celebration I went for a relative's wedding dinner. It was just a small-scale dinner and I sat at the Red Table!

I have less than $20 left so I guess I can't go KTVing or cycling or splurge on unnesessary stuff. Speaking of which, I haven't gone KTVing for about 2 months. Heh heh.

Haven't done my Japanese homework. I still have to fold the clothes. Blah blah, blah blah.

Ah crap. I realized that I didn't tape American Idol today. Well actually I recall pressing the Record button but why didn't it record? Huh? Why! Why! Tell me why!

Anybody watched? Care to give me a recount?

Ooooo! I made new stuff today.
At this rate, my savings will all go down the drain. Wheeee! *cue toilet flushing sound*
Not that I had much savings to begin with.

I feel super free even though school has started. Tuiton lessons have started to slack off, tutorial and lab sessions haven't started, and I have all the time in the world to troop down to Chinatown. I can even delude myself into thinking that I have a 3-day week on certain weeks. Anyway I just looked through the namelist for the Organic Chem tutorial and lab groups, and I just possibly might be the only Arts student out of a class of 397 taking this module. Bleah.

I've got my eye on this. *lust lust lust lust lust*
I need money to finance my very expensive indulgence! I'm obsessed! I'm blinded! But I lurve earrings! (Today I just bought 3 more pairs. *hangs head*)

Today I met Yanz in school and she passed me my birthday present! Very nice! Big, roomy, lots of space for those Jap books and my fat Tupperware bottle that keeps leaking, and other assorted stuff. Thanks friends! :)

In all other news, my auntie has decided to decrease the frequency of my tuition lessons to once a week, so it ends up that I'll only get my pay once every 2 months. Sigh.
I'm still waiting for a reply from the head librarian.

Was horribly lost today during Japanese lecture. ARRRRGHHHH!

And I made two new "friends" through MSN in the past week. So interesting. I suppose it shows that people are not that intimidating after all. Or maybe it's just that people let down their guard online and are able to express themselves freely. At least that's what I feel.

Jonathan and Victoria got eliminated today. I was hoping that it would be a non-elimination leg despite Victoria's very irritating high-pitched whines. No more drama to watch on The Amazing Race liao.

Help!!! I can't log in to IVLE using Internet Explorer! *panics*
I can log in using Mozilla but I can't download my lecture notes! *panics again*
I cannot log in to Blogger using IE!
What's wrong with the computer?!

Today seemed like a very very long day even though it's technically still 24 hours. For starters, I had a lesson at 9am, and it ended at about 10.30am because there wasn't any tutorial (yet). Then I randomly took 151 and ended up at NJ and then took 171 with the intention of stopping at Dhoby Ghaut and taking the train to Chinatown but I fell asleep and ended up at Raffles City instead. Bleah. Anyway, I was lugging around this damn heavy Organic Chem textbook around Chinatown and trying to look intellectual (but it's tiring looking intellectual when your arms are aching!) and getting weird stares because I so obviously do not belong to their age group. Hahaha. And after giving up hope, I finally found the ever-elusive shop! Yay! I shall now start on my big experiment!

And thanks to our dear kind Saint, I got a free Topshop top! *blows kisses your way* Then we lingered around town and I signed up for this Seventeen Membership card that supposedly has quite a few perks (but I dunno what the perks are hahaha). Yeah it came with a free Sally Hansen express manicure and a free L'Oreal makeover plus a goodie bag all for the price of $5! But I didn't go for the manicure and makeover though. Didn't feel like jostling for a place with other girls. And after all that activity it was only about 4 plus. Bleah. It felt super long to me probably only because my days usually start at 2pm and not 9am!

So now I'm still wide awake as I always am at the witching hour and it looks like my resolution to sleep at 12am everyday is not working. And happy birthday to Shuhui even though she's not going to read this. :)

Yawn there's nothing to do online anymore. I shall spam my own blog.

The rrrrrrrrain in Spain falls mainly on the plain.
Lots of chocolates for me to eat, lots of warmth give me lots of ____? Warm hands warm legs warm feet oh woooooooouldn't it be laavvely.

Hey anyone has this song? The lots of chocolates for me to eat one. Send me!

Eh come to think of it, I don't think I ever watched the film before. Or did I? Or did I not? Ayyeee did we watch it in Sec 2 Ms Monica Toh's music lessons?

Oh I actually wanted to sign up for those aerobics classes that the NUS Aerobics sub-club conducts. Wowee! Me! Just the thought of me getting all fit and healthy!
Unfortunately. It clashes with my timetable! Hahahaha. This is a sign! That I should just stick to stuffing grapes in my mouth.

I'm broke all over again!

Oh man I'm just too bored.

Today's Organic Chem was superrrrrrr boring. It's not so much the material that's boring, but the way that the lecturer lectures. Zzzzzz. Thank goodness the lectures are going to be webcast(ed?). Now I am reminded why I'm in Arts and not in Science. Hahaha.

Going to eat dinner now. Right now it's 3 more lessons and 3 more lessons to my tuition pay... Hope I can get the moolah before tutorials and lab sessions start, else I won't have time to run here there everywhere plus I just sent in applications for part-time jobs at NUSS and YST, hope they'll pick me! Pick me pick me pick me!

Oooh I'm turning into such a money-face. Hahahaha. Been buying and selling textbooks recently to save myself some money. Freaking expensive, books are. Sigh.

Downloaded this Mozilla Firefox web browser because I couldn't stand the Spyware that has been infiltrating IE. But naw, this web browser isn't as good as IE, though it's similar. It can't load a lot of the stuff on the TAR6 website. And my blog looks odd on Mozilla. It's only redeeming factor is that it's not as susceptible to Spyware as it was with IE.

Today I felt as though I had a stench floating around me all the time. Eeuwch. Disgusting. I hate my sweat glands and facial oil and blah blah.

Getting into the swing of things again; quite happy that for now there's no tutorials yet. I should resolve to sleep at 12am every day, so that I can wake up bright and early and not feel damn tired during lessons. Sleep's important. Last sem I had a lot of sleep and managed to concentrate moderately well for most of my modules.

Spent a bomb on textbooks. But I've also been conducting business exchanges and selling my old textbooks so perhaps I can save some money.

Today I had my first Japanese lecture. Wah, I do not understand anything except for like, Konnichiwa and Sayonara.

Yeah #9 on the dream man's list as suggested by Ms Koh:
9. Must be nice to me and my friends
Tuesday, 11 January 2005 0 comments

Yanz made a very interesting list about the qualities her dream man should have (or something like that). I shall be a copycat too!

  1. Does not smoke
  2. Looks like Ian Thorpe
  3. Swims like Ian Thorpe
  4. Has a body like Ian Thorpe
  5. Has a sense of humour/makes me laugh
  6. Understands my er, sense of humour.
  7. Likes to eat
  8. Can endure my screeching (otherwise known as singing to other worldly humans)

Errrr... I can't think of anything else! Will add more when the time comes.

Friends, any suggestions?

We need a new printer. *sis and me nods in agreement*

After downloading all the lengthy PowerPoint slides and then sitting in front of the printer, manually feeding it paper piece by piece and watching it slowly spew out printed lines inch by inch, I think I'm going crazy. Where are the good old days of photocopying-shop lecture notes?!

Better still, we should get a printer that can print 10 pages in a minute or something. And the printer shouldn't require me to stone in front of the printer bleary eyed every time I want to print lecture notes/tutorials/documents/etc.

My eyes hurt! Arrrggghhhhh!!!

Very good. I just downloaded a lot of files off IVLE. Bleah. So much work.
My timetable this semester looks horrendous. Last sem I spent an average of 4.25 hours a day in school and had 3 days with lessons starting at 12pm and later. This sem I'm going to spend 5.625 hours a day in school on average (and no lessons starting in the afternoon). Okay not a lot since we have this odd/even thing but still! I miss my slack timetable!

If everything goes well and I manage to get my desired slots for tutorials and lab sessions, Monday will see me lurking around campus from 10am to 6pm. I'm stuffing lessons back-to-back. Wednesday (as planned) would be three 2-hour lessons straight and I'm trying to minimize the number of breaks I have. It's mad, I know. Hahaha. I'm mad. I think I'll go crazy after this sem.

And I have to dig out time to go for tuition classes 4 times a week, supposedly. But the timings are superrrrr-flexible. Ah haha the good thing about tutoring relatives.

Oh today I spotted Olinda Cho and David Yeo in school! Whee! Was quite excited and almost wanted to ask them for their autograph wahahahaha but everyone around me was quite calm and I decided not to "throw my face" wahaha.

I'm using so much of my mother's money to buy books. Especially the Japanese books. I feel bad. All the more I should get a job. Oh I tried asking at Sakae Heeren today but they seemed to be anti-undergrads or something. When I said I was a Uni student you could hear the "Oh" in their voices and their faces fell quite visibly. Erm, do they have something against undergrads?!

Yeah I should enjoy the next few weeks before the tutorials start.

Bleargh. The printer has no ink.

I'm desperately trying to sell my used textbooks. My mother has been kind enough to give me $50 for textbook allowance and another $50 for pocket money after hearing about my very empty bank account. Considering that she hasn't given me pocket money for a year already.
The Japanese coursepack costs a freaking $80 and that's daylight robbery! I still need the English text, the 2nd-hand Marketing text, and other assorted readings that may come along. *wails*

Anyone knowing anyone else taking SC1101E, CL1101E and IF1101E this semester, please send an email! If you are from NUS and you are a bona fide buyer I won't bite. My textbooks and/or reading packets are really in very good condition - no dog-earred pages, no bends along the book spine, blah blah (since I hardly ever study anyway).

Today I went to ward off evil - supposedly. I was thinking about all the studies in Sociology about religion: why Taoism is on the decline, why Christianity is getting so popular.
I think I belong to the tribe of people who are getting increasingly secularized, so to speak.

Huh school's starting. I hate waking up!!! :(
And hmmm very good where's LT27?!

Alright! I'm super excited. I just realized that I can drop Academic, take Organic Chem and yet have a free day!
*cross fingers and toes*

Ahhhh CORS is only open on Monday!
I need someone to help me bid!

But I won't have luxurious days that start in the afternoon anymore though. Boohoo. Everything starts at either 9 or 10am.

I'm still on the topic of Why Bidding Sucks.

Bidding. Has finally come to an END. Closure. 完了.
Of course there's Round 3 next week but I got 5 modules already.
And yes they're not what I wanted. What the hell.

I got The Nature of Language, Japanese 1, Employee Management in Singapore, Evaluating Academic Arguments and Principles of Marketing.

Most of them obscure modules which I hurriedly bid for because Time was running out and I didn't have enough points.

I'm mostly worred about Evaluating Academic Arguments. Sandy wanted to do this with me but decided to pangseh me at the last minute. But I pangsehed her for Genes so I guess it's fair.

Found out that Marketing requires a BIG MAJOR PROJECT, the presentation type. *shudder* I don't like projects after seeing what it did to everyone else at good old SMU.

Japanese has 7 hours of lessons per week.

Please remind me to start researching for modules 2 weeks before bidding starts!

I shall write it here so I won't forget. Next sem, I shall do Drugs and Declare My Major. Do 3 major modules and if I'm rich enough, go for French 1. If I'm still poor, then do another breadth like IT1001 or General Biology or Basic Organic Chemistry or something.

Next next sem, I shall do SOM. ARRRR!

I hope I can survive this semester. *crosses fingers and toes*
0 comments
I'm adding a TV set to the list of things that I want to get when I am rich (which is probably never).

I still still still still still still still still still still can't stand 霹雳火. Can the blardy broadcasting stations stop airing it already!

Hungry. How I wish I have cup noodles by my side now.
Oh cup noodles where art thou.
At Mabel's house, that's where. :(

I can't believe I'm forgoing a going-out day just to stay at home to BID.
Bidding is hazardous for health.
Bidding sucks.
Bidding is the bane of my life.
Bidding is stressful.
Bidding is depressing.
Bidding makes me want to smash something.

Haha okay I'll shut up about bidding. For now. :D

But I won't stop complaining about bidding until I get five satisfactory modules. Hur hur hur.

I tell you, some things are innate.
My life revolves around food, money and studies (I take the pencil to be a symbol of studying).

Ever did this at age one?
We have ang ku kueh, red eggs, a drumstick, a ruler, a pencil, a book and a dollar note.

I already exhibit gluttony at age one. Hahahaha.

But then now I wonder why I didn't take the drumstick.

Picks up red egg and pencil.

Stuffs egg in mouth.

Picks up pencil again.

Eyes stuff on bed and thinks "What should I take now?"

Picks up the money! Wahahaha.

My mom thinks it's a sign of why I like to eat so much. Notice that the red egg never leaves my hands. Wahahahaha.

Heh.
Another day of bidding.

I'm complaining so much about bidding this blog should be called Why Bidding Sucks.

But anyhow.
Basically all my plans have been thrown to the wolves so now I'm doing some obscure modules.
Can't do Drugs, dropped Genes, Abnormal Psychology not open for bidding today (or maybe there's no more vacancies left).
Can't do French 1. Bid points too high.
Ditto Science of Music.
Let's wait for 9pm.

Today is Not A Good Day.

First I had to wake up early to bid, and after all that flustered bidding and screaming over MSN, I didn't even get the modules that I wanted.
What the hell.

All you people who keep spoiling the market by raising the bids! Please go and stuff your face with __________!

THEN now my parents want to watch that Stupid Taiwanese Soap Opera That Makes No Sense Whatsoever and I cannot watch The Amazing Race. WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least today all the buses that I wanted to take came in less than a mintue. Which means I didn't stand at the bus stop and seethe or something.

Wahlao I'm damn pissed now.

Stupid internet connection disconnects me whenever someone calls and it's because they just bought a new telephone RRRRRARRRRRRRR so freaking irritating when I'm already all strung up because of the stupid bidding which I found out that I cannot even do GEK1519 at all because I don't have enough points lar what the hell GRRRRRRRRRRR.

Coupled with a horrendous presence at home and I'm going crazy RARRR still must go for tuition later. Sigh RARRR RARRRRRRRRRRRRR RARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sigh. Anxiety is infectious.

I'm going bonkers trying to figure out what to bid for what. Oh help.

Screw bidding.

Anyhow, this is what I have so far:

EL1101E (confirmed)
LAF1201 as UE
GEK1012 as Arts GEM
GEK1519/PC1327 as Science GEM/Breadth?!?!?!
GEK1533 as Science GEM but it clashes with GEK1012 and so if I take GEK1533 as Science GEM then I would have to take PC1327 as Breadth and then I won't have an Arts GEM and I still need another module somewhere! And all the other remotely interesting Science GEMs CLASHES with all the modules I want to take! Blardy hell!

AND SO I need to take another Breadth or GEM (Science or Arts depending on how competitive the bidding is, which is effectively screwing up all my plans) and there are no other interesting modules that I want to take! And really, what's the point of taking something that I'm not interested in even if it fits damn nicely into my timetable?!

AHHHH what the hell.

(PS: I don't expect anyone to comprehend what I'm saying. I don't even understand it myself haha.)

Today I had a Baking Session at Mabel's house, which is what I would call a uhm, self-proclaimed tradition. We took the "Baking" out of the "Baking Session" and didn't do anything remotely associated with baking though. Plop a few undomesticated girls in a kitchen trying to whip up a storm and you get... considerably yummy food. In conclusion, we cooked enough for 10 people (and possibly more) and I ate too much. As usual. In fact I think my tummy feels weird right now.
I hope it's not because of the food, hahahahahaha.

Gillian says I'm talking too much in layers when I blog. I know, and I do that for a reason. To protect myself. But I've decided of late that I'll be much more transparent in speech... text... erm? Blog?

During a conversation we had, Sandy said I'm becoming more girly (or something in that context). I scoff silently in my heart and did a mental snort.

Bidding's making everyone uptight and panicky. And also the fact that I'm tired of hearing complaints about school stuff.
I try not to let myself get affected by it much because it's just... bidding for modules, right?

I left Mabel's house feeling uneasy. I realized much much later when I was bathing that in my haste to leave, I left the recipe book and my cup noodles at her house.

I just realized that the bidding rounds for Breadths, GEMs and UEs are open from 9am to 5pm.
Damn! Which means I have to wake up early just to stare at the computer! *curses*
This is from a person who sleeps from 5am to 3pm. 3pm's too late to bid because it'll be closed bidding. And I still have to give tuition so I won't be around in the afternoons... which means... ~!#$%^&*!!!!!!!

You're like me! The intelligent loner. You're shy
at times but friendly, and you are never weak
and always independent. You are incredibly
intelligent (wise beyond your years) and have a
talent for many things (sports, music, art).
You have a kind and warm personality and enjoy
the simple things. Like hanging out with
friends and watching movies at home. But you're
sometimes quiet nature makes you a bit of an
outcast and a mystery to people. No matter how
pretty you are or smart or athletic, you just
can't seem to break into the crowd and be
noticed. Don't worry, try to be more outgoing
and speak out when you have more to say. Don't
hide behind your books and sports and computer,
get out there and get noticed. You also have
deep desires in life and feel vunerable and
alone at times. Don't feel sad either, What
helps me to express feelings and dreams that I
can't say to people, is through my writting.
Maybe you should try.

Had quite a busy day today.

Met old friends and then did some CNY clothes shopping.
My mom was quite generous today, a very rare occurrence, but I don't quite fancy squeezing with aunties at OG. No really, it would have been great minus the aunties squeezing, the long queues and my pompous Auntie who came along and declared in a superior tone that whatever clothes we buy has to pass through her judgement first. And then she promptly told me that the clothes I chose were so auntie-fied that even an auntie like her wouldn't wear it.
I was like... ??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!?! I'm the one wearing it, hello? And my mother thought that they were quite nice too, so I didn't see what was the problem with my choice of clothing.

Being the new year and all, you know, I think I have achieved a certain level of enlightenment. Erm maybe that's not the right word to use. Or a epiphany or something? One of those big words that means a sudden flash of insight. I don't know anyway. Hahaha.

Waiting to bid for my GEMs and Breadths and Unrestricted Electives... but it isn't open yet. Hurry up hurry up.

Oh yes I forgot this but Happy Birthday Blog. I've been blogging for 3 years already and hopefully it'll still go on for some time.

Happy New Year! and hopefully this year will be a better one.

I spent the first few minutes of the new year on the NEL. But at least I had a great day. Thank you Empress and Saint for the delightfully hilarious day with erm... innovative uses of plastic bags and also to the Saint for her generous dinner treat.

I don't like the start of a year but I like year ends.
Maybe it was because the year ends meant holidays and the new year meant school starting again.

I tried Spybot but still can't get rid of the icons on my desktop and the icons are obstructing my Ian Thorpe wallpaper! Preposterous!

The temperature's getting quite low these few days. Tomorrow's a busy day.
Thankfully I still have a week before I go back to school.
