As I tweeted to Mad, I must be the first person in the world who would manage to chip a tooth while eating salad. o.O
YES, I chipped my front tooth today! I do not know how - I was just sticking a forkful of veggies into my mouth when the fork struck my tooth and there was this loud sound. And before I knew it a small corner of my 门牙 is gone. Very saddening. I can't help but keep running my tongue over that rough edge.
My skin is still in a mess! I've got ulcers growing! I'm getting fat! Sigh. Such is life.
There is a Korean pop concert of epic proportions happening right here in Singapore on 23rd October. I hope my mother doesn't choose that weekend to go to Bali. Big Bang! So Nyeo Shi Dae!!! These people don't drop by our sunny island so easily! Must! Get! Tickets!!!
Very coincidentally, I met a primary school classmate during an interview I was at on Monday. We both applied for the same position and her interview was right after mine. I'm not very optimistic about getting the job though. Brain felt rather fried after the written test.
A lot of pimples popping up on my face sigh my skin is in a mess! :(

Today's personal column on mismatched expectations between couples in The Sunday Times proved to be particularly educational. The writer stated that there 5 "love languages" and that each of us will tend to express our love for others in one or two particular ways. I'm filing that in my "How to learn to get along with a significant other" database.
Nowadays whatever I watch (i.e. We Got Married) or read, I tend to see myself in them.
It seems like Korean stars are dropping by our little red dot almost every week, if not fortnight. I spent Saturday afternoon at the CN Blue showcase. :) It was pretty good, but much has to be said about the lousy service of the ticketing agent (Gatecrash) and bad sound system. A lot of people were shouting for So Nyeo Shi Dae hahaha and Yonghwa even showed off his couple ring! LOL :)
OK I'm going to sleep early today! Tootles~

Had lunch today with a colleague who is going to leave the company soon. We both joined the company on the same day but unfortunately I'm still stuck here while she is moving on elsewhere. Sigh.
She shared with me how she met her husband at work and they got married after being together for 3 months. Funny how the measure of time stays the same, but things can turn out differently for different people.
In 3 months, you can decide that he is the one and get married.
In 3 months, you can also go from being in the throes of happiness and plunge straight into being terribly unhappy.
In 3 months, you can remain confused and left in limbo.
In 3 months, you can also learn to accept fate and sigh that it was not meant to be.
Happy endings for some, resigned to life's many twists and turns for others.
Yeah, a lot can happen in 3 months.

I love BlogPress, it's just like twitter except that I can ramble more without worrying about my character limit! Very much worth the US$2.99 that I paid IMO. Now I can revive my ailing blog with more random thoughts that nobody cares about. I remember how in the past I would be struck by inspiration on the bus/train/or some random place but by the time I get home that moment of spontaneity is gone. Or the mood to blog disappears.
Now if only BlogPress allows me to label my posts...

Another bunch of people commented about my weight loss today. I haven't been losing anymore weight recently and I didn't know 2-3kgs can make someone look visibly slimmer haha but it also makes me wonder if I was really that chubby say, 1 year ago, as compared to now?!
Wah then I need to keep up with my exercise routine for the rest of my life to be able to maintain my current size! Can be very tiring leh! :(

Read something pretty amusing in Digital Life.
"More sex for iPhone users", it says. And what's the significance of this earth-shattering revelation? "We do not think this is conclusive that iPhone users are luckier in bedroom matters. Maybe the iPhone is the easiest to use, so its users have more spare time for other activities." Hahaha!
On the contrary I find that the iPhone is taking up a lot of my spare time! It's such a distracting gadget. Where got spare time for "other activities" you tell me?

I may be a Kpop fan but the rate at which new groups (especially girl groups) are appearing is really too fast. There's now a girl group whose youngest member is only like 9 or 10 years old (the group's average age is 15 my goodness) 0____0. What next? We see an embryo singing and twisting their unformed bodies on stage?
Another group with 9 members and no substance - sorry but their live singing sucks - was thought to be the next So Nyeo Shi Dae but unfortunately I think they are just all legs and nothing else. You want another Wonder Girls/SNSD kind of group? Please train more and don't debut in a hurry. Give us quality instead of quantity!
And if you thought Super Junior (who used to have 13 members - that number has shrank since then) had one too many faces/names to remember, there are talks of a 20-member group debuting soon. Do they seriously think people would be interested in a mass of faces who all look alike? And the poor dudes get like 2 seconds of singing time each?
Seriously none of them have that wow factor anymore. I will admit that Kpop has been all about the pre-packaged, pretty girls/cute boys who are trained in singing and dancing catchy songs but this "mass production" seems to be getting worse. It's like factories churning out groups after groups with no quality control, hastily assembled together without much thought. Quite sad, the rookies this year are nothing to shout about... except for maybe JYP's new girl group.
Here's the debut stage of the group with the 9-year old kid. She's the rapper but her voice is still so kiddish! And the rest of them look way to young to be thrusting their chests and hips. *me prude*

Restarted my Korean lessons after a 2-month break. I think my new Korean teacher teaches better than my old teacher. 죄송합니다 박선생님! ㅠ.ㅠ
I went to squeeze with hordes of sweaty adolescents on a hot and humid night. Just to watch 4minute (and BEAST) perform. SO OLD ALREADY STILL DO THIS KIND OF THING. -___-" Our passes were supposedly VIP passes but all those excitable teens stood up on the chairs and effectively blocked my view. Thanks ah fanboys and fangirls. Well at least I didn't have to pay for it, haha.
Haven't been rotting at home on a Saturday afternoon for a real long time. Yay to rotting! :)

'twas a weekend of indulgence and good food! Oh, hedonistic pleasures! *heart*

Yummy crab bee hoon at Melben

Giant fishball from Old Chang Kee (drowned in chilli sauce)

Very yummy takopachi balls from Orchard Ion! I like! :)

Tried this erm, uniquely flavoured bubble tea from Ion too... Green tea with rock salt and cheese

Italian food for dinner!

Chicken wingssssssssssss :)
And this concludes the end of the long National Day weekend. Very sad that the weekend's over in a flash! WHY! WHY! WHY! I need a I Hate Tuesdays t-shirt too. Well at least I caught up with some of my WGM watching on Saturday hahahaha. And I'm completely preoccupied with Cookie Dozer and Words with Friends nowadays.
Less expectations, less pain, less heartbreaks. I think it works. 还是我已学会了潇洒的对待?

I bought the BlogPress app. Yes yes yes, the iPhone is such a money sucker! First I spend money purchasing the phone. Then I buy a screen protector. Then I buy a case for it. Next came spending US$0.99 on What'sApp. Now it's another US$2.99 (I think) on BlogPress! And I also ordered another iPhone cover from Gmarket. On top of all this I am saddled with monthly phone bills of $40+. This is not good.
Hopefully with the BlogPress app I will start blogging a lot more regularly... I feel like my poor blog has not been getting much attention from me of late. And for the curious people who are actually interested in my boring life *waves to a grand total of 5 loyal readers - must be a slow news day if you are visiting this blog* get on Twitter if you aren't already on it!!! Coz I'm starting to tweet more and yes, it's all thanks to the iPhone again. Haha.
(Maybe the next thing I buy will be the Bejeweled app. -___-")

Again it has happened. Again those #!&*$!!_% people, if you know you need some bloody item for your shoot, GET IT FROM ME WHEN I'M IN THE OFFICE, not over the weekend when you suddenly realize oh crap I don't have this this this and then call me to summon me to the office to open one stupid cupboard for you.
I wouldn't mind so much if I was paid handsomely to do shit work. I need a higher paying job. Sigh, need to wake up in less than 4 hours to drag my lazy ass to the office. ON A SUNDAY MORNING. BAH!
Today I had a discussion with friends on when to have kids. I am still anti-kids. I hope I will never have kids. But to all my dear friends who are 25 (or soon to be 25) and would want to start a family, do consider having kids before you turn 30! It's better for both yourself and the kid. So do you realize what this means? This means you have 5 years to find someone suitable, get married and start popping.
Showed my mom my health report today and she said that my "bad" cholesterol (LDL cholesterol) and triglycerides levels are perfectly normal so it ain't that bad. I have a high level of good cholesterol. Hah so I can still eat my seafood! But in moderation of course. :)
And I have 2 ulcers :( I hate ulcers.
