Somebody help! Ad-aware doesn't get rid of the stupid Spyware.
One thing I don't really understand, is why girls like to eat so freaking little and then complain and moan about getting fat. What's with the dainty eating? Food is meant to be enjoyed. Stuff your face with food! My goodness. Please do not eat a slice of bread or a piece of cookie and food of similar proportions and say that you're full. That is rubbish.
Last day of the year already. My little sister's starting Primary 1 in 3 days time. That is so exciting. I am nineteen already. I am in some acadamic instituition doing nothing with my life and yet going through it for reasons that I cannot comprehend at this moment.
The years just get dreadfully similar as you plod along in life.
So yeah, Happy New Year and I have no resolutions because it doesn't really make sense to me to keep one.
Oh and on the fiscal side I hope I can be richer. :)
You hear all the boyfriends girlfriends blah blah and everyone acts like that's very normal (which actually is, but I'm just not used to it).
Luckily for me, the people I mix with mostly embrace singlehood like I do and I feel no pressure to find a significant other.
But SUDDENLY it seems like more and more people around me are hooking up faster than a shooting star and while it's very exciting for a 旁观者 like me to 八卦 a bit about their newfound romances, it's also a little disconcerting.
But then after much thought I concluded that I still like being alone and single and I'm too self-centered to care about another person anyway, so singlehood suits me just fine. And perhaps being attached is not as hyped up as it sounds or seems you know. And no, it's not sour grapes. I'm too narcissistic to even consider devoting part of my time to another person and welcoming another person into my life.
Wallowing in self-pity is allowed occasionally though, when everyone else has their significant others by their sides and you have no one.
The Saint and I had some discussions about this whole being attached issue and other random debates that came along the way, and once when we were both feeling whiny and needy we indulged in some girly moaning and complaining about the absence of a significant half and our lives being uninteresting and stuff but hey, it always ended with the Saint saying that "when it comes, it comes".
Well that's true. Usually "it will come when you least expect it", to quote, and there might be some truth to that statement.
And despite of all that whining I guess I'm quite happy about being single. What's so bad about being single? Sure, it's always nice to have a companion and do all that romancing thing but sans the whole issue about me being too self-centred, do I feel like I need someone to do the romancing thing with? No.
Yeah maybe in the future I'll be singing a different tune but right now? I'm happy with the status quo and the lack of a love life. You don't need love and romance to thrive.
You just need food and money. Mwahaha.
But it was good fun. How long have I not indulged in such luxurious chit-chatting sessions when most of the time you just 八卦 about people's lives and not worry about anything else? It's been so so long since... I don't know. The past. The happier, jovial days.
I'm seriously superrrrrrr deprived.
Wah this week's Amazing Race really cheat my time. Grrrr. WHY! Why do they leave viewers like me in suspense from last week and this week they decide to show a recap of the first 6 episodes? :(
Anyway it's not deathly silent at night or in the day anymore. The water's turned on and for the first time I realize how freaking loud the sound of running water is. This is some conditioning, whatever, whatever, I know I learnt something related in Psych but my memory is terrible and the info obviously didn't get encoded so yeah, no surprise I got a B- heh heh. But still not bad for last minute work. :)
Oh yep and I went to the Metro Warehouse Sale at the Expo with my sister on Tuesday. Was quite okay, did manage to find some good bargains there but because we were rather pressed for time (and cash) we just breezed through the racks but hopefully my mother will bring us out for Chinese New Year clothes shopping. A chance to expand my wardrobe! And I don't pay for it either. Whee!
Bidding is starting in a few days time.
Get ready for battle!
They're quite cute little things. :) I was watching them swim around and I think the way they swim is very cute! Wriggling their little tails about... wahahaha.
I feel quite happy for them since they've got so much space to swim. Better than the two big fat koi fishes that were about 100 times larger than them and have to splash around in that small artificial pond.
I managed to pass everything and got very average results, so that's good. All B+ and B-. Not too bad for eleventh-hour mugging! And I expected my results to be all Bs so all's good.
Been eating a bit more than usual lately. Because I wake up at about 3pm everyday, I skip lunch and just eat dinner and I think I've become so used to eating lesser, it feels unnatural if I suddenly binge and eat a lot.
But now I'm in a good mood coz I'm slightly richer! Yay! Watch those dollar signs!
We don't celebrate Christmas so the day went by without much fanfare. But tomorrow! Boxing Day! Results!
I don't think I will be able to drag my lifeless body up at 11am to check my results so I shall live with the suspense till I get home from my grandmother's birthday celebration... *crosses finges and toes*
Garrrh and I gotta start thinking SERIOUSLY about what modules I want to do next semester. And what I want to do with my life when I graduate, for that matter. Been putting that off long enough. Start module-researching and plan a nice timetable and get a heart attack bidding... hurhur don't you feel all warm and fuzzy this holiday? @___@
It's time again for me to conduct my annual (one-sided) conversation with you! This year I don't wish for much. I'll be quite happy if you can give me a big fat angpao (currency preferably in pounds and not one-cent coins) with anything from a four-digit figure and above. I have too many insatiable wants so instead of second-guessing what I want you can just give me an angpao. Or if you don't have angpao's in the North pole you can just write me a cheque. I'm not fussy.
I hold you in such high esteem, Mister Santa. Even my blog is dedicated to you! I have plastered your big face on my blog for almost a month. Every one who comes across this page will see your big face! If that's not the highest form of worship I don't know what it is, ho ho ho.
Shall keep this short and sweet. If you make my wish come true, I will deliver 12 drummers drumming, 11 pipers piping, 10 lords-a-leaping, 9 ladies dancing, 8 maids-a-milking, 7 swans-a-swimming, 6 geese-a-laying, FIVE!!! GOLDEN RINGSSSSSSS!!! 4 calling birds, 3 french hens, 2 turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree to the North (or is it South?) pole to you personally.
And I will be so happy I will go tra-la-la and sing Christmas carols to you which I guarantee will make you allergic to them for at least a couple of years. Or maybe you'll turn deaf first.
I think I am/was? a reincarnation of Rudolph because every time when Christmas draws near, I will start sneezing too much and my nose will look red! Mister Santa! Maybe we have an affinity in that sense!
Okay enough nonsense. As usual, my Christmas stocking will be waiting patiently at the foot of my bed.
Merry Christmas! Hohoho!
STILL poor, broke and penniless,
Si Yi
X'mas 2004
Been sneezing a lot recently though. Two days ago I exploded consecutively for about 8 times in those thunderous sneezes and I thought my nose was going to drop off. Haha. Maybe it's the Christmas spirit that's making me sneeze.
Maybe *gasp* I'm allergic to Christmas! Hahahahahaha :D
Tomorrow I'm going for some pompous gathering hosted by my mother's friends who belong to a higher social class. It's so obvious that class differences do exist. My mother always makes it a point to speak to us in English when better-educated people are around or when my friends come over, as if English is an uppity-class language and Mandarin isn't.
Then I have to sit around and make small talk which is such a bore. At least I hear there's going to be turkey. Ooh so exciting I have never eaten turkey in my entire life. I'm quite a mountain turtle when it comes to pompous events like these.
Oh and I hear that there's a 4P class gathering today which I chose not to go because it's gonna be another of those small talk settings again and trying to fit in when I obviously won't so I shall not cause trauma to myself.

| You scored as Pissed at the World Cat. And here we have the next serial killer. Try having some cotton candy, it'll make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside, Psycho. |
Which Absurd Cat are you? created with QuizFarm.com |
Spot on. I'm really feeling Pissed At The World right now.
Personally, I think she's delirious. The fever must have burnt her brain and all the synapses and neurotransmitters are not functioning well.
Garrrrrrhhhh I hate listening to sleeptalking gibberish enacted through bloodcurdling shrieks.
In all other news, I got my overdue tuition pay (finally)!!! *hops around gleefully*
I would think that one of the reasons that one gets a blog is to update people who you don't see regularly about the things going on in your life.
So why the hell is nobody updating?!
It's already bad enough that I don't even get to see them, okay.
You can say that disappointment has made way for resignation.
Well of course you go through the feeling pissed bit first.
Recently I've been enjoying the company of inanimate objects, like the TV, books, the piano, newspapers. They make me laugh more than in the company of human beings.
I decided to give a non-conventional answer to another social invite. I said "I don't feel like socializing" and immediately I could see the exclaimation marks in her eyes and the alarm bells ringing in her head (never mind that this was conducted through MSN). Then I was treated like a person who has issues about socializing or PMS-ing or in depression, with the are-you-okays.
Since when is not wanting human company a symptom that something is wrong with me? Haven't you heard of me-time before?
Anywayyyy. My little sister is sick so she is always around the house and I am always around the house and my parents will be around the house so they can take care of her. Sigh.
I took this picture in a purely innocent setting, when trying to cut an apple. If you know me, you'd know that I suck at cutting apples. No, it's not a sign that I am depressed/PMS-ing/______ (insert random psychological illness).
But it's a good alternative if you feel like stabbing someone.

12 days to my exam results,
5 more lessons to tuition pay,
7 more lessons to other tuition pay,
And dunno how long more before I get paid for last month's lessons.
But anyway, I was so bored that I started banging on the piano again.
It's a pity. I stopped something that I did decently well at. And trust me, I don't have many things that I am good at. Not to boast or anything, since I don't have 3.66 out of 4 for my CAP.
I need to make music. I need to stare at black beansprouts on a more regular basis.
After much thought I may very well join the NUSSO.
Let's expand our vocab.
They have:
blasé, nonchalant, fed up, annoyed, blue, depressed, discontented, dismal, dissatisfied, down, gloomy, glum, jaded, sated, satiated, surfeited, tired, weary, cool, dulled, exhausted, fagged out, fatigued, fed up, had it, laid back, mellow, sick of, spent, tired-out, wearied, worn, worn-down, worn-out, listless, spiritless, absent, abstracted, apathetic, blah, bored, careless, dormant, dreamy, drowsy, dull, easygoing, energyless, enervated, faint, heavy, heedless, impassive, inanimate, inattentive, indifferent, indolent, inert, insouciant, lackadaisical, lagging, laid back, languid, languishing, languorous, leaden, lethargic, lifeless, limp, lukewarm, lymphatic, mopish, neutral, passive, phlegmatic, slack, sleepy, slow, sluggish, stupid, supine, thoughtless, torpid, uninterested, vacant, annoyed, asleep, beat, beat up, bored, broken-down, burned out, collapsing, consumed, distressed, dog-tired, done for, done in, drained, drooping, droopy, drowsy, empty, enervated, exasperated, fagged, faint, fatigued, fed up, finished, flagging, haggard, irked, irritated, jaded, narcoleptic, overtaxed, overworked, petered out, played out, pooped, pooped out, prostrated, run-down, sick of, sleepy, spent, stale, tuckered out, wasted, weary, whacked, worn, worn out, aloof, apathetic, blase, bored, bored stiff, casual, detached, disinterested, distant, hard-hearted, impassive, incurious, indifferent, listless, remote, thick-skinned, turned off, unconcerned, uncurious, uninvolved, unresponsive, weary, withdrawn, all in, beat, bone-tired, bored, bored stiff, browned-off, burned out, bushed, crispy, dead, dead tired, discontented, disgusted, dog-tired, done in, drained, drooping, drowsy, enervated, exhausted, fagged, fatigued, fed up, flagging, had it, ho-hum, impatient, indifferent, jaded, knocked out, overworked, pooped, punchy, sick, sleepy, spent, taxed, wearied, wearing, whacked, wiped out, worn out, zonked etc etc etc etc etc.
There are alot of repeat words in there if you did plough through the entire paragraph.
In that case, you must be as bored as I am.
Join the club.
You know, one of those lovely get-togethers based on a purely social setting to kaypoh about people's lives and you feel obliged to attend just because. And then the night just becomes a constant rehash of the things we've discussed before.
How I wish I could have replied "I don't want to go so stop bothering me and stop inviting me for these useless gatherings." But cannot lah. Because it's simply not nice. It's rude. It's against social norms.
And besides, I don't have the guts to offend people.
Well yeah, I've noticed that I'm becoming more cynical and angst-ridden.
Why ah?
I should just stop blogging like the whole world is against me or that I'm very unhappy with everyone and everything.
4 more weeks before school starts; Four Glorious Weeks. And I'm going to waste it away writing depressing stuff on my blog (and playing The Sims 2)?
Well done.
But recently I started thinking that I am not really the same because something inside has evolved and changed into something else but I don't know what.
No, not a good thing at all.
Today I finally went swimming again but *dramatic pause*
I forgot to bring money!
I was already on the bus when I realized that I have ZERO cents on me (after emptying out my wallet on Friday) and therefore would be unable to gain entrance into the pool. And I am already a regular cheater of the Swimming Pools Association (whatever they are called) because I always pay the child's price instead of the adult's price. Haha. I don't even have $0.70 with me lah. Pathetic. I literally went out without a cent. Sigh.
Very good illustration of how broke I am.
In case you are wondering, I did get to swim in the end coz my father was already in the swimming complex and I asked him to bring the money out for me.

Edna Mode is definitely cuter lah.

You Are a Peacemaker Soul |
You strive to please others and compromise anyway you can. War or conflict bothers you, and you would do anything to keep the peace. You are a good mediator and a true negotiator. Sometimes you do too much, trying so hard to make people happy. While you keep the peace, you tend to be secretly judgmental. You lose respect for people who don't like to both give and take. On the flip side, you've got a graet sense of humor and wit. You're always dimplomatic and able to give good advice. Souls you are most compatible with: Warrior Soul, Hunter Soul and Visionary Soul |
Aw, don't give me all that sorry crap. To quote, 如果道歉有用的话, 要警察来干嘛?!
I probably ate too much coz my stomach feels weird.
I think I burnt a hole in my stomach. Poor tummy. It has served me well. I shall stop torturing it and stuffing it with nonsense.
My kidneys feel weird. Wait, can you even feel your kidneys? Anyway I'm paranoid and I think my kidneys feel weird.
I need another job. I plan to work myself to death. Read the papers? University fees are increasing. I have a lot of things I want to do. I need money to do all these. I need a long-term part-time job.
They say there are part-time jobs on campus? Where? I desperately need one of those.
This hols is. Just. Downright. Depressing.
Was basically just amusing myself most of the time, especially at the photocard taking machine thinking of ridiculous poses in an attempt to look original and cutesy. :D
Unfortunately I didn't buy anything (yes, not even my #1 indulgence earrings) because a broke person cannot afford frivolous spending.
(Christmas cards don't count.)
My mom's away! When the cat's away, the mice will come out and play. Or so says me.
And yes, it's still Cold at night Brrrrrrr poor me bones aching joints creaking and the cold tingling from head to toe.
Might be rheumatism, eh.
Was reading a friend's blog when the cold went right into my heart. I had a sudden realization, you can call it an epiphany of sorts, and I found that I never knew her at all.
I was reading a stranger's blog.
It must have been the weather.
But the cold, when enjoyed alone, peacefully, under an umbrella, walking in the slight drizzle, wind blowing in face, can be rather pleasant.
It's the weather.
Still looks vaguely festive, huh? Except that it looks like CNY's coming.
But I can see a gorgeous blue layout coming using #336699. Oooh.
My Sim's rather ambitious. He wants to WooHoo (equals have sex) with 10 different Sims. How is that possible? If there is an AIDS equivalent in the Sim World he would have been doomed. And in Sim World one night stands are not really possible. Tsk tsk. So he will have 10 different lovers and get caught one of these days, that cheating, lying cad.
It is so fun playing God, I say.
Today I took another of those trips down memory lane. I see images of myself everywhere.
Flash. Walking to the clinic with my grandma.
Flash. Going to my friend's house after the PSLE.
Flash. Taking the good old 321 (now 113).
Flash. Walking to school through all those blocks of flats.
Flash. Playing in the park opposite school.
Just like seeing my life unravel itself on tape, only that it's not in chronological order and it's in fast forward.
So what spurred on this attack? The Sunday Times column today and the dusty letters and cards I dug out to re-read because I was trying to find something to occupy myself, instead of fretting about my ovaries.
This year's been a fast year. Much too fast. And eventful. There was work, there were those overnight stays, there were those trips, and there was school, there was me slowly dissolving. Seems to me the more grown up you get the faster the years go by. Not too sure that I like it but I'm stuck with it.
Every year I'll think about what happened the previous year and the 11 months preceding it and marvel at how fast everything has been yet it doesn't seem so fast after all because you know, it's been a year but all those flashbulb (or not) memories are ever so accurate and vivid (or maybe they aren't because memories can't be trusted) and everything seems the same but yet so different or maybe it's just sad knowing that things are different even though I insist that they are the same and all the random people entering and exiting your life oh changes changes changes I don't like change and I'm not too sure I'm making much sense because words are now this cumbersome thing in my mind.
Much as I'd like to do the whole smelling flowers by the roadside thing, I don't. I don't know why I don't but I just don't. It's only when at times like this I sigh and think of the lovelier times spent and kick into melancholy mode. I don't think it's nostalgia but yet it seems like nostalgia see conflicting thoughts yet again and I think I grow up too fast flipping through the photos of yesteryear and noting that the candles increase gradually. Gradually, yes, but still increasing.
I think I'm acquiring a taste for blogging without punctuation hahahahaha.
I keep forgetting to log in to CORS for that Module Preference Exercise thing. Been too preoccupied with playing The Sims 2. The Id is secretly enjoying itself by making all those fictious 3D-figures copulate, do kissy kissy things and fall in love with every random stranger that passes their house. Freud would be proud of me.
A nice change huh, from a series of one-liner posts. Never defy inspiration when it strikes.
Nothing interesting lately, hey ho.
Or rather, due to the limited capacity of my LTM, anything that was once remotely interesting is now lost in the vast network of neurons, synapses and transmitters.
A spanking not-so-new layout coming up, when I tire of The Sims 2.

Seriously.
I think I have child-abuse tendencies. I'll end up slapping my kids when they get annoying or disobedient. Who knows what other horrifiying acts I may commit when in a rage of anger.
Like now. Ms Annoying is at her terror yelling night routine again. I have this urge to stuff her pillow into her face. Maybe she'll suffocate and die. GRRRRRR.
SEE I AM SUCH AN EVIL PERSON.
So. I should never have kids.
Horror. I saw this sentence: "haha.. i'm 159cm.. and 47kg.. (kinda fat).. "
What is the world coming to? 47kg is NOT fat! Wahlao! Her BMI is only 18.6!!! 难道要瘦到皮包骨才甘愿吗?!?!?!?!
So what's thin then? 30kg? At this rate the word "thin" or "skinny" or "slim" will just disappear from the dictionary.
Like how people can easily obtain facets of my life without even meeting me face to face. Like how people will know that I'm having exams now, what I did today, what happened on my birthday, that I dyed my hair purple, that I went for plastic surgery, blah blah. You can not even speak to me yet know what's happening to me. You can be an old old old acquaintance I've met somewhere and found this blog, and read it religiously, but yet it's not a two-way street (I know, because I'm guilty of voyeurism too). You might know me. You might not know me. But it just takes the whole human experience out of social relationships. In that case I should just be a cavewoman and communicate with the world through computers and wired networks.
And at the same time, can you geninuely say that you know me just by reading my senseless babbling? A blog, after all, is open to the whole world, and so the author must have consciously or unconsciously placed certain modes of decorum on his/herself.
I'm all for happy communal bonding and stuff with people I like but after a while... you know how it goes. Out of sight, out of mind.
So if I really wanted to be this mysterious person and shocking people with dramatic changes and not wanting people to find out more about what's happening to my boring life then I shouldn't be blogging right?
Wrong.
Maybe I should start writing in code. 42, 42. $2!nt, ;3?%;$$, we need new symbols!
(refering to the massed vs. spaced practice effect) "A practical implication of this effect should be obvious: When studying for exams, don't cram; space out your study sessions." (Nevid 2003: 235)
Hah, hah.
I was mightily amused when I read that last night.
I then proceeded to cram everything (ok, almost everything) into my puny brains and worked all the way till 6am before crashing.
Yesterday was mugger's nightmare from hell. TERROR. My hand almost dropped off.
Disciplined me sat at my desk from 2pm and crammed crammed crammed all the way till 6am, taking only short breaks for meals and a bath. Alas, it didn't pay off because of the massed vs. spaced practice effect, whatever the hell that is, and various other factors. But at least I tried!
I am very impressed with myself and my discipline! Woohoo! *pumps fist in air*
Popular ran out of my favourite highlighter colour.
Know what I need now? I need a Karaoke session.
2 down, 3 more to go, and I'm about to go crazy.

I should be revising for ICM now since the exam is only 15 hours away but I just watched Singapore Idol and Olinda got kicked out. :( Boohoo.
Even though Ken Lim's comments were very out of point yesterday, he's right when he says all Sylvester has to do is to stand there and smile and the votes will come in.
Sylvester shouldn't win Singapore Idol. Actually I think he shouldn't be in the final 2. His performance last night was bad. And he totally massacred Music Of The Night. Come on! His vocals aren't that wonderful and he's not that good-looking either. OK maybe he's reeking with charisma and overflowing with the X-factor and that's what endears him to his fans but eeyer he hasn't made much progress at all! The only time his singing and performance was credible was when he sang Hound Dog which was like a couple of months ago. Grrrrrrrrr.
I used to be a Sylvester fan (used to be is the operative word) but when put together with other better singers he's like psychologist-wannabe is to Sigmund Freud. Composer-wannabe is to Mozart. Et cetra et cetra.
Vote using your ears!!!! Not because you swoon when you see him appearing on your TV screen! Or that he looks cool and suave, complete with the bad-boy rocker attitude! Arrrrrgggghhhhhh.
Personality: You are a bright and vivacious person but sometimes you go overboard that you hear the word "nagging." People think you are a reserved person but things are constantly brooding in your mind. That's why it's hard for anyone to figure you out.
Love Tendency: The person you'd like to share your lifetime with has to be one who will never even think about deceiving you in any way. Your stubbornness will succeed in the end because you will meet an honest man in the end.
Life: You'll experience some tough times during your younger years because your pride gets in the way. You are labeled as a self-centered person, which doesn't hinder you from having close trustworthy friends. Those might be the only ones you keep in your lifetime.
Ah-ha T-minus 1.5? and counting.

Haha but the cut-out milk cartons are probably in some incinerator now, how to cut out the barcode?
All this just to participate in some stupid contest to win S.H.E. concert tickets. My little sister practically worships the ground they trample on.
Okay, I exaggerate. But only a little. :D
The Amazing Race 6 tomorrow at 10pm! :) :) :) :) :)
My disgusting irregular sleep routine is back!

Yesternight Saint called to discuss about the dilemma of whether or not to go Hong Kong.
This has nothing to do with Hong Kong, but I want to go to Beijing in 2008 for the obvious.
So I need to come up with a plan to raise money for my plan.
Therefore I need a part-time job, pronto. (Ok, when my exams end.)
If I save $50 a month, I can save $600 a year. Multiply by 4 and I get $2400. Enough to go to Beijing? Plus expenses plus Olympic tickets? Hmmm.
Ok nevermind. 人是总要有梦想的.

SWEET TEEN!!! Yes you are a teenager mmmm from 13
- 19 quite a little rebel haha just kidding...
You think as a teenager, you see everything
quite simple, soon you will realize it is not
that simple. In my opinion you look at things
in a very beautiful way. =)
What is you inner age?
brought to you by Quizilla
But my younger sis got 20s. Does it say something about our maturity levels? Heh ;)
I've got a big pimple somewhere and big boils that never ever seem to disappear. Ah. Maybe should go get the doctor to surgically remove them.
Anyway, the good thing about having a little sister is that all the junk you find from your Primary School days -- like Snoopy pencil boxes and Winne The Pooh wallets that you couldn't bear to use back then because they were in such a pristine condition (all of which are not exactly very applicable now), you can dump to your sister! In a way, it doesn't leave you (because the junk is still at home!) so you get to hold on to a little of the sentimental blah-blahness but it's not owned by you anymore! Just a mere transfer of ownership! Heh.
But of course some things cannot be seen by my little sister. Like my sticker collection. Mwhahahaha. She's crazy about stickers and I have no plans to let her find out about my stickers. But like the prissy, precocious, booty-shaking 6-year-old kid she is, she says when I "M", she'll take all my things away. Or when I die (CHOY touch wood) or move house she'll come into the picture and grab all my stuff.
"M" being marry lah. She keeps asking me whether I'll get married, that irritating little person. Grrrrrrr.
Ah, entering Primary 1 already! So fast ah. I'm not too sure if I like her as the irritating baby or as the irritating talks-back-to-you kid.
I think I prefer the irritating zygote. Hahaha.
Nights were filled with interesting Skype conversations with a twist! :)
But very busy for me and my fingers trying to juggle so many things at one go though. Heh.
The worst is the know-it-all attitude when HELLO she doesn't know ANYTHING at all.
I prefer days when I stone in front of the computer and don't talk to anyone at home.
ARRRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH damn pissed off.
So on Saturday, Ms Koh, Ms Ng and I went to celebrate the big one-nine by going to Pasir Ris park so that Ms Koh could learn how to cycle. Unfortunately it was more of a celebration for the mosquitoes there as they feasted on our blood. Garh.
Then we feasted on Chilli Crabs and other assorted dishes. Yum. Wonderful end to a wonderful day.
12 more days to exams and I haven't started on anything! Woohoo!
Nice weather to sleep now. And... nothing to blog about liao. Bye.
Was browsing through the past few months archives and it was like, Wow I actually wrote all that?
And certain events are ever-so-freshly encoded but... it's already November.
Then I decided to delve further into my deep, dark past and read some 2002 ones and it's odd to be reading about something that you know once happened to you but at the same time, doesn't seem like part of you anymore. Sounded so much more juvenille then. Full of frivolities, lahs and lors. Definitely more light-hearted and carefree. And happy (-ier?).
Now there's like an unspoken weight behind every post.
I hardly know myself anymore. Sadly.
So I'm resorting to posting lyrics up. Haha, very original, I know.
You say you wander your own land
But when I think about it
I don't see how you can
You're aching, you're breaking
And I can see the pain in your eyes
Says everybody's changing
And I don't know why
So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same
You're gone from here
And soon you will disappear
Cause everybody's changing
And I don't feel right
So little time
Try to understand that I'm
Trying to make a move to stay in the game
I try to stay awake and remember my name
But everybody's changing
And I don't feel the same - Keane, Everybody's Changing.
Got bitten by lots of mosquitoes today. Bah. Itching like crazy.
You are Film.

I'm recording this down so that when she becomes a hormonally charged pubescent teen, I can laugh at her. Hahaha. -evil snicker-
It keeps raining nowadays.
The first time in 19 years!
Woo.
Feasted on a normal 8/9?-course wedding dinner, fishhead steamboat + assorted various other yummy dishes, eating countless numbers of plates of sushi, a bowl of mee sua and of course the very nice birthday cake over the weekend and plus plus.
The concept of birthdays just decreases in importance over the years. Or alternatively you could say that there is diminishing enchantment in our lives.
Next year the cake will look sparse with only two fat candles.
What Color is Your Brain?
brought to you by Quizilla
Seems to me that the more people drift away the more you realize that they are very very different from you. It's like... they didn't exist in your life in the first place.
Solitude is like... eh I don't know what is analogous to solitude but it takes time to get used to it. But after getting used to it you find that it isn't that bad after all.
Yeah. The reception in LT11 and LT13 is damn bad.
Ooh I think this is damn cool. Haha. I'm an aspiring artist at work -- NOT! It just reminds me of the famous guy (Zhu Zi Qing or something)'s essay (背影).
You can see bits and pieces of my hand-copied lecture notes and an ugly caricature of the lecturer who was just babbling away and didn't make much sense. To me, at least.
And what's with the "How do I tell if I'm overweight" thing? I got another of those searches (again). So for the benefit of those who stumble upon my humble abode trying to see if you *gasp* have grossly exceeded your ideal weight by half a milligram, I shall now help you!
Of course, one simple way is to measure your BMI. Take weight (in kg) divided by height (in metres) X height. It's weight/(height X height). If the resulting number is over 25, congrats! You are (dare I say it) overweight.
Otherwise, you are fine! Or if you want to minus some offending numbers off your current weight (like what I aspire to achieve), then EXERCISE! Exercise is the healthiest way to reduce fats (or so I hope).
But more often than not, the spirit is willing but the fats are weak. I totally understand, because I feel that way too. No matter HOW MUCH I hula daily, the friend of mine residing on my waist is still happy and bulging. It doesn't reduce the size of the tummy but it just makes it tougher. So when I poke my finger on my once-bouncy tummy, it doesn't feel as flabby coz it has mostly turned into muscles. Yeah, muscles, but still big fat muscles.
It doesn't mean muscles = flat stomach. No no no. That's a gross misconception.
Or you can eat less rice, coz rice contains carbos and carbos, when not burned, will turn into fats (or that is what I think).
Or you can go for liposuction (which I might do in the near future hahahaha, since nothing seems to work, short of joining a triathlon) or guzzle slimming pills or go to beauty salons.
Oh, there are no lack of ways for the average-woman-on-the-street to morph into a stunning beauty with Barbie-like proportions! (Then again, Barbie is grossly misproportionate.)
And if you are here looking for Ian Thorpe, wrong place.
I'm just an ordinary adoring fan like you! :D
Ooh how unhealthy and sinful but yet ooh so satisfying.
I love Kit-Kat!
Also managed to clean my table today, and set up the stupid Bluetooth thingee for file transfer from phone to PC. Yay.
Jen is the new Bachelorette! Or at least that was what I read in The New Paper.
I was hoping it'll be Tina (Fabulous) but haha I think Jen will make a pretty good Bachelorette.
The Amazing Race 6 is coming back on Tuesday, November 16 (which will mean Wednesday in Singapore). Yay!!!
Apparantly, there's someone with blue hair in the race.
My exams start on zee 20th and end on zee 26th.
I'm broke. Hiak hiak, money money money.
I feel like a harassed chicken now, no idea why. Cluck cluck cluck.
I've this really wonderful angsty entry that I've written but eh, when I published it it felt so salah! I don't feel angsty and depressed now. I feel fine. I'm normal!
Was actually contemplating stopping blogging for a while and going on a short hiatus because really, don't you get sick of reading about the same old things?
Ah! I can feel my angsty mood come back! Oommmm.
Shall go watch Singapore Idol results show.
I --
Chopped luncheon meat
Sliced fish cake
Beat three eggs
Cooked Campbell's soup
It was fairly enjoyable. Chop chop slice slice beat beat whip whip.
Yay.
But I can't cook a decent meal. Still. (with the exception of the all time favourite -- yeah you got it! Instant noooooodles. Slurp.)
Mothers lead a tough life. Hmm.
Ben Affleck is so manly!
Don't you find it particularly sexy when men go to war wearing those smart looking uniforms with lots of badges, and emerging from the war looking all rugged and sacrificing themselves for the sake of their country... and it's even more dashing if they're damn good at what they do (like flying, as shown in the movie)... and the brotherhood-bond thing... ahhhhh.
Gimme manly men! Those that oooooze masculinity like Aragorn and Rafe. Forget about boyish Legolas and Danny.
I sound damn deprived, hahaha.
Well say hello to my on-again, off-again friends, doom and gloom.
J, j-j-jaded.
Apparantly I'm searchable on MSN Search. Type in my name and it will bring you here.
I tried it out on Google and it brought me here too.
Some of the more amusing searches are:
there was even one on NUS ICM mid-term exam or something
and various other amusing stuff.
OK! Enough self-amusement. I really need to get started on my Psych quiz preparation.
The old trusty blanket of (10+x) years has a big rip in the middle and I fear that it'll rip apart one day.
So, while it's soft, nice and comfy, it can't really serve its purpose anymore.
It has served its time with me. It's familiar, it's comforting, it was so essentially part of my life.
Now I need to get used to the new blanket. Hard, coarse, not at all comforting, but still, does what it's supposed to do; that is the manifest function of keeping me warm.
That's so analogous to human relationships, I think.
I hate the weather today.
One moment it's bright and sunny and the next moment it's threatening to rain.
My job as of now is "Laundry Keeper".
Now all I need to do is to figure out how to get rid of the scrollbar... someone help?
You're Element is Water. You are soft and serene
atmost times but like Wind, you're scary when you're mad. You proabaly have a talent in singing and even your speaking voice is lovely. You have an innocent type of beauty that makes you look younger than you are and you like close relationships with people.
What's Your Element? (for gurls) (PICS)
You're a "Blue Angel". You're a smarter
one than most and are the more logical than
anyone you know. You also have very strong
morals that you stick to through it all and
you'd stand up for whatever you believe in even
if no one else agrees. You're a little bit shy
around people but you love to be with lots of
people anyway. You have appreciation for things
like music or poetry or art. You yourself can
sing fairly well but you don't like to sing in
front of people. You're very thoughtful and
people love how creative you are.
What Color Angel are You? (PICTURES)

yourself or you are an outsider...don't like

it...what can say?! Just live the way you

What kind of friend are you?(anime pics)
Sigh. Lonliness is my best friend. :'(
14.5/30! Alamak!
The highest mark I spotted was 23.5 and there were many many failures so I feel somewhat consoled.
Darn I totally forgot about my impending Psych test :(
Raaaarrrr back to studying and using up highlighters at an astonishing rate.
I read this really insightful article on Religion in Singapore and I felt I could finally understand one of those cheem articles for once. I have a whole lot of nonsense I'd like to say about Religion in general but then it's not good to offend other people and their faiths.
OK I'll shut up about school.
Here's a shout-out to everyone especially all you Ichee people, I haven't seen you all in ages :( :( :'( :''( like ever since Xiuhui left? Raaaaaaarrr I feel very much secluded from everyone so HELLO! Don't drift away from my sad life ok? Must. Meet. Up. ONE DAY!
It's about adidas's campaign, "Impossible is Nothing". He now stands proudly on my desktop, replacing the former nice beach photo of me Empress and Saint that we took on my birthday last year. Haha 重涩/色轻友 (?).
"Religion is the opiate of the masses." It's some famous quote by Karl Marx or one of those Great White Dead sociologists.
But what the hell does it mean? Ahhhhh how I don't even know what to debate about it.
I bought a pair of earrings from this bazzar in NUS today! Mwhaha feels good. I haven't bought any frivolous little trinkety things for damn long. So I now have 46.5 pairs of earrings? Or is it 47.5 pairs? I lost count, eh. Need a new device/storage system for my lovely collection. My current invention (a shoebox with chopsticks poking through) is getting a little overcrowded.
Eh heh the semester's ending in about a month's time WOOHOO but of course exams are coming too and everyone seems stressed except me! Of course I'd love to get a marvellously high CAP but judging from my record er, I don't think it's going to be possible. By the way, I passed my Chinese test with not-so-flying-colours but hey! It's good enough for me! 14.5/20! Wahahaha! For CHINESE! Wahahahaha!
Unfortunately I failed my Psych quiz by a mark (24/50) but I must argue that it's because they minus half a mark for every wrong answer (somewhat like the SATS exam model) and so, if they didn't follow that rule, I'd have passed with 29/50! Wahahahaha!
Haven't gotten back the other tests yet.
But I'm thinking of majoring in English now instead of either options a, b or c. We'll see, we'll see. I'll take EL1101E next semester.
Gosh I feel damn full lah. I came home and ate this udon thingee and then ate a curry puff and it's gonna be dinner time soon and I asked my dad to buy char kway teow or fishball noodles. Oooh I'm exploding! No wonder I'm not getting any skinnier despite hula-ing my life away every night.
I feel damn crappy now haha.
There's Singapore Idol tonight and Jerry Ong better pull up his socks or retreat gracefully.
I hope he does the latter.
... ...
... ... ...
... ... ... ...
I can't even put to words the flabbergast-ment that Jerry's still in the competition. He's not even in the bottom few! Alamak! What's wrong!
Somebody should make the SMS voting FREE instead of paying 50 blardy cents for each vote. If it's free I'll waste all my SMSes on voting. Hah.
Poor students like me cannot afford to pay 50 cents to vote!
(OK I'm just a miser lah.)
Sylvester's getting too blonde for my liking! But he's still cute ahahahaha.
Know the recent debate in the newspapers about teaching English from its rudiments? Well come to think of it, my command of the noble language is very much flawed since I couldn't even spot the mistakes that they raised in the articles!
Anyone really understands all that jargon about past-participles and continuous tenses?
NO right!
Tsk tsk. All the more we should learn English from its fundamentals!
14 pages and 3000 + words later, I have finally completed my Singapore Society term paper!!!
I've finished it 20 hours before the dateline, is that wonderful or what? I find it pretty miraculous, in fact. I was half expecting to burn the midnight oil trying to pia the paper.
I'm quite proud of my paper! It's not half-bad for last mintue work :) Woweeee!
Worth skipping my ICM lecture today for!
Hope I can get a semi-decent grade. After all, it takes up 30% of my module grade!!! 0____0
Ahhh Singapore Idol! I haven't expressed my displeasure at the fact that a certain deserving singer should have been out DIDN'T get kicked out last week. But anyways, I think Sylvester is so cool! Some inane magnetic quality attracted me to the TV screen while I openly gaped as he sang. -fangirl squeal-
So me and my sister managed to un-jam the thing by dismantling the whole tape.
Then I popped the tape into the VCR and hit "Play".
But nothing appeared but a blue screen!
Bah!
Anyway, something's wrong with the commenting system (i.e. Haloscan) so I can't reply comments. As for the screwdriver and the washing machine thing, I spoilt the catch on the washing machine long ago and thus I now use a screwdriver to pry open the lid. Yeah. :)
1. Today's outing picked up my declining social life a little.
I love LALALALA-ing loudly usually but today I managed to sing properly and not scream/shout at all. Great-grandma and Yanzz will be very proud of me. :)
I'd like to think that it's because of me using my diaphragm as a result of my tummy-toning efforts. :D
2. I have a bruise that is 13cm long on my left hip! And strangely enough, I'm very proud of it. Mwhahaha.
3. Lusting for The Sims 2. Dr. Nameless has very kindly agreed to lend me the 盗版 Sims 2, mwhaha!
4. FOUR more days to get started on my SS paper... better start cracking soon.
5. I was right! DOOM and GLOOM aren't long lived. They're by-products of estrogen.
I won't miss them. It was rather miserable being all mopey and touchy-wouchy.
6. I dropped the screwdriver behind the washing machine. I cannot find it in the dark abyss behind the machine. How.
7. Shall print notes now. 8am lecture tomorrow! Oh woe is me.

You're a Winter. You very much enjoy your time
alone but do like other people's company
sometimes. You just need your space. You have a
few priviledged friends who saw past your
colder exterior to find the true you. You can
have pretty bad mood swings (though you hate to
admit it) so you could be soft one second then
storming around the next! But over all, you're
a very pleasant person once people take the
time to get to know you. You're a good friend
for in-depth talks. You're very talanted when
it comes to creative things
What season are you? (pics)
We had a nice little chat over SMS.
It was all fine and dandy, especially when I get to waste my SMS. Seriously, I have too many SMSes but nobody to waste them on.
Then I watched Friends (I only started watching in Season 10, someone want to tell me what happened in the previous 9 seasons?) and then the theme song "I'll be there for you lalalalalala" came on.
So actually what does it mean to be there for someone else?
Like what I did with my friend? Listen to her and dish out advice?
Yah, I can be there for people but are people there for me?
I don't go "Hey, are you free to talk now?" when I'm depressed and I need to sulk.
Nobody knows when I need them anyway.
That's all there is to it.
Nobody is truly there for you.
Everything is DOOM and GLOOM.
Yah, I feel like I've a lot to do, stuff like cleaning my table and doing hulas and and watching TV and reading my textbooks but then life doesn't hold much meaning anymore.
What the hell am I existing on Earth for?
Don't tell me I need to set a goal/direction in my life. I know that. Unfortunately it hasn't found me, or I haven't found it.
Everything is transient.
Friendships are transient.
Everything is overrated.
Friendships are overrated.
Well congratulations! I've succeeded in alienating myself! I'm now a hermit! It's what I wanted! It's what I desire!
Arrrggghhh I'm down in the dumps (maybe it's high levels of estrogen, my cycles are pretty accurate).
:'(
Well on the happier side, I spent $138.20 for the whole of September. This has proven that I can actually survive solely on my tuition pay.
It's easy... all you need to do is to help me fill out this short and sweet survey. Please??? -is desperate-

What's something that you wish people would understand? :: I need love care and concern!
What's something you wish you could understand better? :: ---
Anyone you miss that you haven't seen in a long time? :: N.A.
Something you want to make happen for tomorrow? :: Hibernate at home. And ignore everyone.
I just experienced a hellish couple of hours trying to juggle discussing a group project online, discussing the same project over the phone, and trying to tend to my little sister's demands because everyone else in this house is either a) out or b) sleeping happily.
Where is everyone when you need them?!
I've got my SS paper due next week but I haven't even started on it yet. Was supposed to do up my survey but got bogged down by trivial matters like these.
I haven't finished my readings and haven't done my tutorial for tomorrow.
Well at least all the mid-terms/tests are over for now.
Thankfully.
Soci and Chinese midterms, bad combination.
I'm whining about school because sadly, there's nothing else for me to whine about.
There's the Ichee thing on Saturday, Sunday's for swimming, and Monday's for going out with Saint because the poor girl has possibly a sadder and more hectic school life than mine.
Sigh I feel so damn anti-social.
I don't want to go anywhere.
I don't have money.
Go away.
A hula-hoop!
An expensive hula-hoop at that. It cost $30!
Heh heh and it's my 减肥 tool. Or rather my 减肚腩 tool.
Do not underestimate doing hulas... it's blardy tiring.
I'm having a group project discussion on MSN now.
Scary stuff.
Didn't have much weird thoughts lately, probably because all the brain space was used up in absorbing Chinese and Sociology stuff... which explains the little stagnant plateau in the rate of blog posts.
So conclusion: if I blog too much, it can only mean that the squishy mass of matter residing in my head is not being fully utilized. Means I'm not studying.
Hahahaha.
I am quite screwed. I haven't started studying for Chinese; 语音, 语素, 语法, and counterparts can go to fluffy heaven.
BUT! I've been reading my Sociology textbook rather diligently, heh.
I have some Psych tutorial to do... tuition tomorrow... ahhhh whatthehell I'm going off to READ somemore. -cross eyes-
I need more money. :(
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!
And since it was bright and early in the morning I grossly overslept and ended up cabbing down to Changi Airport while frantically sending messages like "Stop her! Don't let her go in!!!" because our parting gift to her was with me. Felt as though I'm chasing after a beloved one a la Friends' Ross and Rachel, hahaha.
After that little farewell we camped out at the staff canteen for a while and I had a very nice chit-chat with my friends. It felt so incredibly good to just sit there and laugh and talk and joke and listen, as though I haven't talked and bonded with other people for very long.
I am leading the life of a semi-recluse, sadly.
Really, I haven't talked to people and exchanged tidbits and information and details on what's happening to them for so long I kinda miss times when all was happy and jolly, when whenever something big happened and everyone would get to know about it immediately, and when we weren't separated by invisible boundaries.
And there were complains and grouses a-plenty, about the way life is now and the state of things around us. It's so horribly weird that back then, when I was so damn busy with school, cello lessons, piano lessons, tuition classes, CCA practices, I feel like my life was much more fulfilling and happier than now. Now, with all the supposed free time I have, it seems like some empty void that makes the day seem even longer and dreary and so unfulfilling. I reckon I should pack my days with lots of activites to make the day pass by faster and the week will pass by faster and then the whole semester will be gone without me even knowing it.
I hold a very pessimistic view with regards to my undergraduate days now. :(
I know you are here... mwhahahaha...
... and I am watching you...
*cue spooky music and ghostly wailings*
The Eye
Inspired by the numerous TV programmes and variety shows that I've been watching, now guess, a la 我猜我猜我猜猜猜, which eye is mine!
Easy enough right. Hahahaha.
No prizes for winners. :D
If you're reading this at 3am and got a shock when you saw the eye of gargantuan proportions staring at you, sorry!
Ooh la la.
Anyway I was thinking (again) -- a good thing too! If I didn't think I'd be better off as a blade of grass -- and a morbid thought came to mind, ah hahaha.
So what happens if I'm happily complaining about how much I'm behind my work today and tomorrow I suddenly died?
So what happens to my blog?
Will someone hack into my account and post an entry that says "Author has regretfully passed away"?
(Pssst. If said scenario ever happens, I authorize my sister to do that [you know the password].)
Will you all attend my funeral and weep sorrowfully and say touching eulogies?
But then, choy! Touch wood touch wood.
I don't intend to die so early.
Yesterday I was attending the YST Conservatory concert (we were very much fashionably late though it's not good to be late for concerts. Blame it on the lack of florists in that VCH area) and in between movements of the Tchaikovsky Symphony I noticed, there was first
Silence.
Then a subtle cough.
A small clearing of throat.
Another one.
Soon more people will follow and coughs and clearing of throats will erupt throughout the concert hall before the conductor raises his baton.
And then
Silence.
That amuses me greatly. Not the coughing but the follow-me syndrome. (Digression: darn my brain is flooding with words like Meritocracy and Pragmatism after the SS tutorial) It seems like someone must start coughing first before another person will muster the courage to cough. Eh well. It's somewhat reflective of our attitudes and society's norms and stuff right? You hardly see people venturing into the path that is not as well-trodden unless someone does it before you and proves it to be successful.
So (*pop* sociologist persona appears) what shapes us and the way the society functions and who sets these rules and norms that we are supposed to follow?
But 长篇大论 aside, I've decided that it's no time for me to slack now when a visit to the SMU campus left me feeling decidedly stressed because everyone over there is so muggerish and project-work driven.
I think people expect more of themselves in University, somehow.
Nobody shares my former statement of slacking happily anymore.
I've that irritating 2000 word paper to write which I haven't done any research on, two tests and 5.5 more semesters of this kind of life (7.5 if I'm good enough to do Honours) and I better not waste the $5650 (and counting) of my father's CPF money.
Maybe I should go find a bandana and paint the words "努力" on it. Hahaha.
P.S.: I dreamt of Ian Thorpe last night! Strangely.
I shall shuddap because I bet the Saint is getting very sick of my maniac ravings about him.
P.P.S.: Chip and Kim won The Amazing Race! Woohoo! They deserve to win, IMO. The psychotic couple (aka Colin and Christie) are too psychotic for my liking.

You are the tree-loving faerie. The Earth Faerie.
Nature is your friend, all the little animals
are cute and cuddly, even those that bite. You
are a strong friend, people have a tendancy to
go to you when they are feeling sad. You have a
motherly instinct and always want to kiss away
the tears.
What's your inner Faerie?
Or maybe not, since I'm so bored there's nothing to do but to keep on typing useless ramblings...
Ramble ramble ramble ramble ramble on and on and on...
Right now I'm resisting the urge to go onto The Amazing Race website lest I accidentally find out who the winner is. Tomorrow is the season finale (sob sob sob sob sob!) when I thought it'll last for a week more because usually the Top 3 teams will be fighting for first place instead of the Top 4 teams, isn't it?
Sigh. What's the point of being all happy and socially active and surrounding yourself with happy faces and haha-friendship when at the end of the day, you are still very much alone?
And to stop myself from making a mountain out of a molehill like I always do when I'm too bored and I think too much, I shall go and read my Psychology textbook, because of all my textbooks it's the most interesting one and doesn't put me to sleep within 5 minutes.
How. I can feel pimples popping up on my forehead again. The pimples haven't so prominent since Sec 1/2? when my oil-clogged pores decided to behave after blessing me with an ugly pimple-infested face since Pri 4. :( Perhaps it's a good thing it's reading break this week. Tea Tree facial wash! Here I comeeeeee!
Feeling decidedly hyper now. Shall go bang a bit on the piano. :D
Mooncakes! Bananas! Konnyaku jellies, tuna, freshly squeezed orange juice! Of which the last 3 items I participated actively in the making!
I am morrrrrrrphing into a mean domesticator!
This entry is rather exclaim-y, isn't it!!!
!!! !!! !!!
*exuberant cheer*
My blog has undergone an Extreme Makeover! From cute cuddly bear to hunky suave swimmer! Heh heh. All with the help of my scapel (i.e. mouse).
It looks a bit empty though. All my previous layouts were stuffed with irrelavant bits and pieces of information which I bet nobody bothered to read. I think this is the very first layout of mine that looks so minimalistic. And quite artistic right! Hahahaha.
And sorry about the tagboard. This wasn't a very well-planned layout so I ended up having no space for the tagboard and thus had to stash it together with all the irrelavant stuff (click on the "here" below to get to the tagboard). Anyway there are comment boxes after each entry so you can use those; I check both pretty regularly.
Yeah! I'm going to recycle my layouts after this.
Have you ever pondered why you blog?
I stumbled into this blogging world about 3 years ago, due to a fad (I'm always following fads haha) and back then I treated blogging as an outlet of sorts, as the diary that I always wanted but never had. Because I was too lazy to sit down and record my day religiously in some pretty cutesy book, I thought blogging suited me very well. So I used this blog to blabber about stuff and for a while it remained anonymous and quiet and because nobody knows about the existence of it and I could pretty much complain about everything under the sun and not worry about the reprecussions.
But then people started reading and subconsciously I changed the way I write. Nowadays I blog mostly to amuse myself and to amuse other people. Because I like amusing people. I think it's extremely gratifying to get positive responses and to make people go hahaha. Hahaha. I gradually found out that as I grew older and learnt more about myself, of which one of the self-learning avenues is through blogging.
And I blog because I'm a closet exhibitionist. Hahaha. How else can you exaggerate and dramatize everything and capture other people's attention? I guess that explains my superstar-wannabe persona during happy KTV days because yeah! I'm an exhibitionist at heart. Mwhahaha.
But eh no, I don't show my crazed self to any other stranger and I don't like performing and I don't like presenting and I don't like public speaking. I have oxymoronic qualities which I am still trying to understand.
So there you have it. Reasons why you are still reading this blog to this day.
I don't think I'll stop blogging for a long long time, at least not in the immediate future.
It has become such an integral part of my lifestyle such that without blogging I think I'll feel like something's missing. And maybe I'll feel a bit lost.
Anyway even if I'm not entertaining enough or you don't understand my brand of humour, humour me and laugh or go away and don't read. :D
I'm convinced that my sister is suffering from a sleeping disorder. Sleep terror disorder. The symptoms fit what's written in my Psychology book perfectly.
And there's an eating disorder. Over-eating.
I think I might be a victim of that, hahaha.
