This week feels like such a loooooooong week...

Can't wait for it to be over!

Our first trip to Europe and it's clouded by terrorism, heightened security and general wariness... but Paris is still in the itinerary.

Oh and I was forbidden to get a wifi device :( so I will probably be shut off from the world for 3 weeks. So sad la part of my joy comes from being able to share my day or bits of my life with others leh. Else why would I have kept this blog for >10 years?! (Ok la nowadays my blog also quite neglected coz there are so many other forms of social media vying for my time.)

Hopefully the hotel's wifi is up to standard! I forsee we need to do a lot of research at night coz we have not planned anything hahaha. We have a rough idea of where we want to go but we haven't found out how to get there...

And I haven't even researched for food places. Heh who has good food places to recommend please tell me!

I'm here to say that I have officially turned 30 years old!

Many moons or maybe months ago, I had this thought to write a deep reflective post about turning 30 and about the decade just past and all the life lessons and I learned blah blah but ehhhhh ain't nobody got time for that now. So I guess to condense it: I am now old! Like one of those people in the newspapers that I read about.

You know sometimes they interview random people for newsbites? It will go "blah blah blah newsworthy quote," said Mary Tan, 30. And then I'd read it and think that they're old and I'm only 18/19/20/21/22 and I've got a long way to go.

Yes THAT. The news is that I've now become part of that statistic. Woosh!

Well to be honest and like how everyone says, age is just a number. I don't feel any different being 29 and 30. In fact I felt 30 for the most of 2015 coz as a year end baby I see so many of my peers turning 30 throughout the year that I subconsciously think I'm 30 too.

Whatever it is, here's to a (hopefully) awesome new decade!
