A bunch of irritating XXX guys were on board bus 156 while I was on my way home today. And they were so rowdy, cocky and annoying. They made so much noise and practically shouted across the aisles and seats to make themselves heard. I was so pissed. Couldn't even sleep peacefully on the bus. Plus they stink. Meaning sweat + B.O + what have you. Ugh. I can't stand such impolite, immature guys (from their loud conversation of subject combinations I concluded that they were in Sec 2) who like to boast and speak cockily. Girls, don't ever send your future sons to XXX.

Went out in search of the perfect graduation dress for my sister's graduation yesterday, while the majority of the cohort was slogging over their physics prac. Anyway, it's so difficult to find a dress that is:

Here's our route: Far East, Scotts, Wisma, Taka, Tangs, Far East again, Park Mall, OG at Bugis, Seiyu at Bugis Junction, OG at People's Park. Thought I could still spare some time doing my work after the search (didn't expect it to take the whole day) but in the end I was out from late morning till night. Sigh. Another day wasted. But at least I managed to get something for myself for prom, so that isn't too bad.

Anyway, my sister now has a very pretty champagne coloured dress. Ahhh!!! I'm so jealous... boohoo. When I was in Sec 4, all I had was a plain white dress (borrowed) and a pair of ugly white shoes (borrowed). Which cost about $0. Sigh. Sigh sigh sigh. Ahhhh!!!

Anyway, I bought a black skirt for prom (my 2nd skirt!) which is quite nice and versatile so I'm quite happy with it :)

Had a really nice day today! Had a 2-week early birthday celebration with Empress and the Saint :) Ooh and I got lots of nice presents, including a nice white top, a blue wrap-around flowery batik skirt (my first skirt after donkey years), a really funky watch that I like alot, heh, a cute piggy card which I have stored in my wallet, a badge that says "I am multi-talented. I can talk and piss you off at the same time" (I don't piss people off do I?!), and a really interesting wooden "IQ-box" which was the so-called treasure hunt. Heh. Little trinkets were hidden inside the box! Now I am the proud owner of a bracelet that says "Cheapo".. hahahaha :) That is so hilarious :) Hahahaha. Oh and a little handphone accesory thing. Yay! Thank you all so much Empress and Saint! :) I feel really happy to be in the company of such great friends :)

Anyway, they planted themselves outside my house while I was getting ready to go out... what with all the "Are you out of your house yet?" SMSes, I was beginning to smell a rat... when I opened the door, they barrelled down the staircase and appeared in front of me... hahahaha... reminded me of last year, when they planted themselves at the NJC bus stop with that fateful Snoopy balloon... :p So now I have 2 "escorts" for company on my way to Parkway Parade. Haha. On the NEL, they gave me the first present: The white top and the blue skirt. Most unfortunately, the plan was such that I was required to change into it. Bah. Anyway I did change into it in the end. Even though the last time I wore a skirt was during Graduation in Sec 4. Hahaha.

Oh then we trooped down to Parkway and had lunch (steamboat buffet! Yay!) and once we ordered and settled down, out came the second present: the funky watch! Hohohoho I really liked that one. So nice! Especially the piggy card :) It says "Life is short, but we make it still shorter by the careless waste of time." and then there's a picture of a pig sleeping and throwing away the alarm clock. Bwhahaha. Yeah I agree, that is so undoubtedly me. Haha I don't know whether it's a compliment or an insult if Empress gets reminded of me once she saw that card. Hahaha. Oh and then the third present: the badge! :) Hahaha. Need to find somewhere to pin it. :)

While we were happily throwing in prawns, sotong, meatballs, blah blah blah and eating happily, out came the fourth present: the wooden box. Spent quite some time trying to open it -- I must say that the box is very well made, because the opening of the box is camouflauged really well. Hee :) Oh and in it was the handphone thingee and the "Cheapo" bracelet! Hahahaha! I am muchly amused by the Cheapo bracelet :) :) :) Shall hang it somewhere and let the whole world know that I'm a cheapo!!! Hahaha!!! :)

After a very satisfying lunch we walked about and went to buy fruit wine and then went East Coast to stare at the sea... haha :) Took lots of pictures. Need to wait for Empress and Saint to load them because I don't have a digital camera. Sigh. Anyway, thank you all Royalties for the great presents and great company :) Yay! I am a happy camper today :)

Dangerous fires aside, I think the prac was so-so... don't think I will do as well as I did for prelims though.

Suffering from lack of sleep (like as usual, so what's new huh?) and today I just conked out for 1 hour on the bus in deep slumber.

Both my sisters are sick, but I stand strong and healthy in front of you. I am still immune to all the viruses and germs flying around at home. Bwhahaha. So far, I have a perfect attendance record, and I am working towards getting 100% for my attendance. For both years. Bwhahaha.

First, let me clarify any doubts about the post below -- I was carrying out an experiment trying to speak in a point of view of a ditzy girl's (aka bimbo). I specially configured my imood to "blonde" just for this experiment. No disrespect though.
From my experiment, I found out that thinking, speaking and typing like a bimbo is hard. And here are some clues on why you shouldn't have believed that I underwent a complete personality change just by reading that entry:

I do not type or spell LyK dIs. I hate people who do that. Typing and spelling LyK dIs is really difficult and challenging, I assure you. I don't understand how people can just type LyK diS~!~ for the whole page.

I do not use mascara. Or wear skirts. I do not even own any makeup or any skirt (besides the NJ uniform).

My favourite colour is NOT pink. For those who like pink, please do not be offended. I am not saying that you are a ditz.

The intentional spelling errors in the passage. I usually spell very carefully so words like "reward" and "colour" have been spelt wrongly on purpose, if you'd bother to take note.

How can you have believed that I actually spent my whole day studying?!

Basically, the whole entry below is a big untruth. Well except for the part that I said I suited Spring colours. Only that part is true.

So BOOOOOOOOO to those of you who actually believed what I typed! *cough cough Empress...* I don't know whether to be amused or disappointed because my sister came up with a theory that if everyone believed what I typed, either a) I am quite convincing as a bimbo or b) I am a bimbo by nature so no one would suspect anything wrong. Sigh!!! This has made me relook at how I potray myself usually. Do I act like a bimbo? (Please say no) Either that or people don't believe that I never lie and that I'll always tell the truth. Sigh! I think I am not taken seriously enough. This is really disheartening. Very disheartening indeed. Yes, I need to relook and re-examine myself.

Actually, I wrote about prom dresses because I was reminded that dunno who said that I bought my prom dress already and told other people when I did when I haven't. Goodness knows how the rumour started but aiyah I shan't bother about that for now. Think it's my evil twin wrecking havoc.

Today's Wedding Dinner was alright. Drank a bit of red wine. Besides that, nothing really spectacular. The only revelation I made during the day was that I can't fit into the pants I bought in July for SYF anymore, so that should give you an indication of how much I expanded over the course of a few months.

Oh, and I was thinking about how nice it would be to attend your friends' wedding dinners a few years down the road. Then you get to meet up with everybody and you can yak away, catching up on stuff while waiting for the dinner to start at 8.30pm when you arrive by 7.30pm. And if the myth about being a bridesmaid 3 times means that you will be left on the shelf then I most certainly won't mind being a bridesmaid. Hey people, remember that if you want to get married, find me to be your bridesmaid!!! :p

Have been watching too much TV. 7pm, 9pm drama serials, reality programmes like The Bachelor and The Amazing Race Season 3 which is shown on repeat. And some random others. Pffffft. The televison is a necessary evil.

Joined a few fanlistings. There are a whole lot of fanlistings at thefanlistings.org. Think I would need an entire month to finish browsing through them. Haha.

Ouch. I have an ulcer about the size of a crater and it hurts like hell. Gah. Hate ulcers. Abhor them, detest them, loathe them, dislike them, you get the idea. And I accidently poked my gum today (while trying to inspect my ulcer) and as a result my gum bled and another ulcer is in the midst of growing in my mouth. I hate ulcers. Have I mentioned that I hate them? Well, I do. Hate ulcers I mean. Have been getting them periodically since, oh, I forgot when. They seem to like me alot. @_@ Anyone would like to test at 5% significance level that I get at least one ulcer every week or fortnight?

Weather's rather cool and breezy lately, which is the way I like it. :) Tried attempting some Prelim papers from other schools for Econs MCQ, and the results I get have been rather dismal and extremely depressing. 15/30, 8/30, 10/30. 5 more weeks eh? At this rate even if I have 5 more months I still won't be able to get at least a C for A levels.

Depressing topics aside, I shall blog about... well, nothing else to blog about other than how gloomy my life has been. Life's rather boring. Yawn. Nowadays I'm just wasting all that grey matter on inconsequential stuff like what to eat for lunch. Whoopee. And Holland Village (the drama serial) is getting confusing. I have some burning questions to ask. Like, why did Tianyang go to jail? And what exactly happened to Rourou after she met with her mishap?

A tribute to my lumpy pillow (Dec 1998 - 1st Oct 2003)
The nameless pillow is the second pillow that I've ever had as far as I can remember. It arrived when I moved house. It has been shaped into a lifeless form after being distorted by me. While it doesn't really offer support to the neck now, it is still nice and cuddly. RIP pillow.

Pillows aside, I am incredibly amazed by the things I've been hearing about myself lately. The best part? I don't even have a clue about the stuff that the supposed "me" was supposed to have done or said. My oh my. There must have been an evil twin of mine on the loose.

Anyway, it doesn't mean that just because I don't go ha-ha-ha for a day, it means that I'm stressed/bad-tempered/short-tempered/mugging till my brains pop out. Why can't we attribute such behaviour to PMS? It's always the most convenient excuse/explanation for anything out of the ordinary. So please to not jump to conclusions, even if I do understand that you have a flair for exaggerating. And one doesn't always have to be happy and lalala and relaxed and carefree and what-have-you all the time. It gets rather tiring.

With reference to the funding incident, I would like to conclude that our descendants have been on the whole, disappointing. I hope they burn and rot. I am such a mean person. Oh well. Don't sue me.

Am quite pleased with my prelim results; they're not exceptionally wonderful, which means no As or Bs, but they're decent enough for me because I managed to pass everything. Yay! Off the Mr. Santa list. :)

Next thing I need to do is to figure out how to improve my language component for GP, because my sentence structures are simplistic and my essays lack interesting and original ideas. And my vocab is really quite terrible.
... ... ... can't remember what else I wanted to blog about. But I'll try and blog in proper English in an attempt to improve my language.
