Then we move on to domesticated Si Yi:

Went for a 5 course Japanese meal lesson to learn how to cook miso soup, tempura, omu rice, chicken katsu curry, tofu cheesecake! Taste - 6.5/10, curry was wayyyyy too salty :x

Sweet corn ice cream bread - saw this insanely easy recipe on Facebook and gave it a try. Just 2 ingredients, mix. But I got the measurements wrong and this turned out kueh-like. #fail!

Gave it another try with chocolate chip ice cream and it turned out better, but bread was really dry. :x

I guess the quality of ice cream affects the bread. Recipe here.

Sandy's hen party on a boat! Got a little giddy after that though :x

And yes look who received her long service award yesterday. Haha. Technically it's 5.5 years already!

Some time last week, Paul and I had this idea to take part in Kiss92's Perfect Match contest. LOL. Hey, the prize was $8,888 in cash! And other perks included a sponsored wedding party, bridal gown, make up, photography, and HOME RENOVATION! Haha. Not like I have a home yet but what the heck, might as well give it a try!

So we hastily coughed up a video for submission but sad to say the 3 couples have been shortlisted and we were not one of them *insert mega sad face here* :(((((((((((( le sigh. OK la but I saw the other videos of the shortlisted teams and they were really a lot more interesting than ours (which was just basically a slide show). Hahaha.

To not let the video go to waste, here is the mishmash video that we put together in one night. Ahahaha. :D



Not too bad for a few hours of work considering I took super long to do up my KK video and the In Japan without a Yen video! Or maybe it's because my skeelz improved. Hahahahaha.

So much for signing up for the Stanchart Marathon to motivate myself... registration for 10km are full and the full marathon of 42km will probably kill me... So. :(

Excuse me while I go stare at the muffin top and flab hanging over the waistband of my jeans.

In other news, The Piano Guys were very very very very supercalifragilisticexpialidocious-ly awesome! Great showmanship I must say!
